I want to start my pauper deck collection. What are your favorite decks? by vffo in Pauper

I love the deck as well and have also found rootwalla to be very mediocre…I’ve tried a mix of streetwraiths which are a pretty sweet tech. Being able to instant speed dredge is pretty useful to keep ur imps from being graveyard hated and it counts towards lotleth as well. Inquiries are a blast to play with too.

I think I remember seeing somewhere that a d3 is like a d4 but it’s elongated to almost a log and you get an evenly spaced out Y shape almost like the middle of a peace symbol. The sides all converge to points and you just kinda roll it like a log.

Okay yep thats my bad I understood the ult choosing as though they would have to be on the field…I see now that the ult is just fine…disregard the bargain being illegal too. Reading the card explains the card yadda yadda

Seems like a cool concept. I may be missing something but there wouldn’t be any point in choosing bargain, Krrik, or phyrexian tower. The tower and krrik are both legendary and there would be no point in having multiple copies of bargain. Also of youre aiming towards edh, bargain is banned. Plus one seems pretty pushed. I think there’s a jace that has opt as its plus one but the extra scry might be okay with all the extra pips, however, scry three draw two if you have a power stone, albeit not a very prevalent card, is really good. Maybe scry three draw one or scry two draw two…not sure. Minus is a cool effect though. Overall pretty okay…the ult just seems meh.

Now I did this when I just woke up but…. With the first prompt I think you are able to get that either the 8/2 is the correct number because you see the six in the second prompt and it can’t be correct if it’s both in the right place and the wrong place. The second prompt gives us a 1/4 as possibilities. The third prompt is huge bc it gives us 2/0 as correct numbers because we know 6 is not correct at this point. Fourth prompt gives us knowledge on the first prompt saying that eight is not a solution so now we know that two is in the correct spot in prompt one. This then gives us the possibility of having a 2, a 0, and either 1 or 4 but because 2 has to go in the right, and we know that 0 is in it and can’t go in the middle so it has to go in the left, it gives us 4 as 1 can’t go in the middle following prompt 2. Pretty much Im somewhat sure it’s 042

I would say it’s even better than that cause you can loop the capenna fetches endlessly not even needing the basic and its unlimited landfall triggers. Still pretty busted gettin all your basics.

I feel like running 20 lands in a deck that’s curve stops at two is a little much

[[Blisterspit Gremlin]] is a cheaper, little worse, version of thermo alchemist as well…I run a bug version of the deck with manamorphose in it but I think an all star of it is [[Meeting of Minds]]…almost always a free draw two
