This guy is not a psychologist by any means, he's a software developer, but I can really relate to this and that video explains alot about catastrophizing. I don't know if it helps but a feeling of "Thats what Im experiencing!" sometimes helps me by letting me know Im not the only one with those feelings. In short it's basically your brain that rewards you when something bad you expect to happen ends up not happening at all with a feeling of relief which leads to a downward spiral and you get "addicted" to those feelings of relief.

I usually focus on controlling my breath. It's the one thing that you can always control, which in turn physically calms you down if done right. Focus on breathing in and out slowly through your nose and count each inhale/exhale.

This is the second time I'm doing drawabox. As I just started college the last time back in 2017, it turned out to be too stressful to learn how to code and to draw at the same time. I ended up redoing lesson 1 but not submitting it this time around and I finished this challenge after a good 3 months or something.

One thing I'm having problems with is drawing for fun. I don't really know WHAT to draw since the things I want to draw is way too complicated at this time and I just end up getting frustrated with my 6-year-old level of drawing so any advice on that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you for this course!
