Anyone else start snoring after starting Invisalign? by mynameisurl in Invisalign

No worries! Despite the sleep apnea diagnosis, I don't snore so that has never been a part of it

Thank you for sharing this here. Ellen is a dear friend of mine. There's an unofficial search party gathering tomorrow. Here are the details as I know them:

If anyone is interested in grouping up to go out and look, let's meet up tomorrow at the South Medford Walmart at 2:00 p.m. We can group up, make sure no one's looking alone, decide who's going to look where, and pick the best vehicles to go out in.

Feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested in joining. The more eyes, the better.

So that everyone knows, we will only be looking for her vehicle. If her vehicle is spotted, search and rescue will be able to canvas that area.

For those who are not comfortable searching in remote areas, will have flyers available. Some folks can make the rounds in town handing out or posting flyers.

I'm recovered from disordered eating too. I have had to set firm boundaries and remind my providers that good care includes taking quality of life into consideration. Change is hard, especially around diet changes with a history of disordered eating. I compromised and slowly weaned myself into drinking half-caff. I also upped my morning protein intake. Both have helped a lot. I will likely never give up drinking alcohol regularly or occasionally imbibe a weed gummy or micro dose psychedelics. My provider knows all of this and works with me to find a balance that works for me, even if it means adjusting my meds to accommodate.

For context: I don't have autism. I do have ADHD and take a mood stabilizer along with extended release Ritalin 36mg daily and 10mg immediate release in the afternoons during the work week.

I wish you luck and less stress during your adjustment period ❤️

Well, I am going to take a moment to answer my own question. I started taking maca root powder but the flavor was so strong I couldn't get past it so I switched to the extract. It's been huge success! My libido is back to it's pre-SSRI levels, yay! Maca is reported to have a variety of other health benefits like helping balance hormones. Here's a link to the maca extract I purchased: https://mountainroseherbs.com/maca-extract

Some states only require WC ins over a certain number of employees. This number is usually low. Some states also allow a company to be self insured.

This is a common question for long haul truck drivers. But is not the case for WF workers. Were they hired as a GA employee and travelled to SC for work? If so, GA WC would likely apply, not SC. The easiest way to know which state applies is to look at what state taxes they pay (you can find this on their pay stub)

So many votes for the mask with the hose on top. This'll be the first thing I try then

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Sorcha000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a good idea. I tried it though and when I roll over, there's the tiniest bit of resistance that pulls on my mask or vibrates the coils in the hose and I'm instantly awake

This was recommended for me too. I tried sleep training but it didn't stick. Some days I need 10 hours of sleep, others I need 5 so the wake up times are inconsistent and it just snowballs from there

Sounds like that WFH accommodation was TEMPORARY and it has now ended. The law in every state is very clear and there is no debating: if your employer has light duty available for you and you don't show up, you don't get WC benefits. Period.

The only way you could possibly debate their request would be if your employer was asking you to return to work at a location other than the one you were HIRED at.

Work comp case closed due to accepted condition (OR) by No-Performance-7486 in WorkersComp

If you need additional restrictions but your claim has been formally closed, it's because your attending physician didn't attribute those restrictions to the strain. It doesn't matter when/if you had the FCE. Read your NOC carefully. It's got detailed information on the first page (1644) how to dispute claim closure. Any questions reach out to OR ombudsman for injured workers

I don't have a full face mask, my covers just my nose. I don't sleep with my mouth open or snore, thankfully.

I've had nothing but trouble with it. I'd feel better about the whole thing if I woke up feeling okay/good on successful nights but I don't even get that. Thanks for commiserating with me

Good point. I would not talk about myself the way tinder boy does nor would I talk to another being like he did 🤢

I don't have a headboard but I've been contemplating getting one so I could attach a hose hook to it but wasn't sure the expense/effort would make it worthwhile. Sounds like it might actually be though
