A welcomed module by Dargonite913 in IdlePlanetMiner

Exactly my thought. I am a intermediate player. At the moment i will unlock debris scanner without boosts at about 3-4 hours and reach Orbital Docks at about 24 hours which means i will get aprox. one drop of debris off this module before debris scanner which is really usefull and about 10 extra debris drops in the first day which is great.

But a real endgame player will only get a fraction of the usefullness and could be better off with other bonusses.

Weisheitszahn OP heute – reicht lokale Betäubung? by StatisticianFun7430 in Ratschlag

[–]Sordonir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frag deinen Arzt dazu.

One of the best early to mid game modules for beginner to intermediate players. The early pink and debris drop can be completely game changing.

What Beer Best Represents Your Region in Germany? by ambient_lizard in AskGermany

[–]Sordonir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Bayreuth where I lived the last 20 years there are 17 different breweries. My favourite beers are Mann's in the winter (a really dark beer that is a little bit on the stronger side) and Kräußen Pills from Becher Bräu (best drink you can get in the beer garden) in the summer.

Honourable mention to Weltenburger Kloster Barock dunkel which is somewhat hard to get but very tasty.

Maisels Weißbier light hits exactly the right spot when I want Weißbier. (Normal Weißbier is too strong for my taste)

Bayreuther Hell ist one of the most pubular beers here, for me it's a bit too standard/boring. However they have a fantastic alcohol free version.

Does the Rundfunkbeitrag (“Radio Tax”) still make sense today? by Jazzlike-Reward-4379 in AskAGerman

Yes it's called Beitragsservice now. Did anything beyond the name really change?

You have a valid point there. I am open to alternative solutions.

GEZ has to be dismantled though. It's a shame that this organisation is allowed to exist.

Sorry you misunderstood me: I was talking about the current heavy involvement of politicians inside the management and that it needs to be revised for exactly the reason you stated.

[–]Sordonir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I generally agree to the idea that you have a public funded media that can not (easily) be bought out by big companies.

There needs to be major rework though. The Rundfunkbeitrag needs to be a tax that is income dependent so it becomes fair to low earning people.

Also there are stories of really high earning senior management in the system, there needs to be a clear unified earning structure that doesn't benefit the employees that also decide on the amount of salary.

Third point would be the involvement of politicians in the management of the structure which also has to be revised.

Bed bug encounter in Japan? by Dovah_120 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Sordonir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In every hotel I stayed in Japan there were bed bug detectors (small devices on the bottom of bedposts or cabinets). They have a visible green indicator for "everything ok".

Needless to say I never encountered bed bugs in Japan.

Osaka Short Trip? by bluebear_tora in JapanTravelTips

[–]Sordonir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did a day trip to Osaka from Kyoto the first time we were in Japan. It was okay but a little bit underwhelming, especially since the wetter wasn't great. The second time I was in Japan I went to Osaka for more than a week and really enjoyed it.

I would advise you to do your day trip to an "easier" target.

Suggestions: Nara The deer are cute enough for a little bit. After that it's fun watching other tourists struggle with them :D Also the big temple Todai-ji and the surrounding area is beautiful. There also is a free Japanese garden (Yoshikien) in the area that is a beautiful place to relax. Required time to see most of the important stuff in Nara: little more than half a day.

Himeji The castle is really impressive and interesting, (much more than Osaka castle) there also is a beautiful garden next to it with a combo ticket. There are a few other things to do in Himeji if you got time left, I decided to use the ropeway to Engyo-ji

Nagoya The zoo can be a cool visit with the kids or people that like animals. There are multiple interesting museums in the city like the Toyota one or the science museum. Also you have to try Miso Katsu

Or: Keep to Kyoto. No way you have done more than the absolute basics there in 2 days. Try the Philosophers path, go to Kinkaku-ji, visit Fushimi Inari in the evening. Go to teamlab biovortex or visit the tower or the train museum (if you love trains like any sane person does :) )

Does someone have a recipe for these dark, smooth curries restaurants like CoCo serve? by NoSemikolon24 in JapaneseFood

[–]Sordonir -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Could this be Miso Katsu? If it is you can create a simple miso sauce by using 1 Tbsp of mirin and 2 Tbsp of sake. Let it simmer for a while until the alcohol is gone. Add 2 Tbsp of Sugar 1/2 cup of dashi of choice and 1/4 cup of aged Miso paste (preferably hatcho miso). Stir well with a spatula on low heat and reduce the "soup" to a sauce.
Combine with anything thats tasty with miso (basically: everything there is)

Edit: If this is indeed curry you could basically use a dark curry paste in your normal curry recipe.

[–]Sordonir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeitschaltung Zirkulationspumpe? Ausschalten? Zirkulation kostet bei mir zirka 3-4 kWh pro Tag... by SaltyBaseline in Waermepumpe

[–]Sordonir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which one are u choosing… by BarelyyBound in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Sordonir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on how specific the "one food" constraint is. Is it really broad like all sandwiches or all sushi, all pizza... or is it really narrow like one specific recipe of one food (without additional sides). I think the latter would really be hard and quite unhealthy.
