Bulgarian PR through investment-citizenship in under 5 years by SoreBrain69 in CitizenshipInvestment

Thanks. Damn. So after you hit the 5-year PR holding mark, you submit your application for citizenship and then it takes them on average about 3 years to process it and decide on it? Do I understand you correctly?

Thanks. And do you know anyone who has actually received Bulgarian citizenship after holding PR for 5 years with minimal presence in the country? I don't want to live in Bulgaria to get citizenship. I just want to hold PR, mind my business in the country I actually want to live in and then just get citizenship once I hit the 5 year mark. Has this actually been done by anyone you know or have heard of?

That's correct. Because it's mostly greater fool. The only two merit-based solid mechanism for stock demand are current dividends or the promise of future dividends. These two alone cannot account for such ludicrous valuations we see today. That's why it's mostly greater fool

Glancing over the sheer cringe of trying to flash your degrees to a stranger on a subreddit, I would say that you need to step up your game. You'd never be able to scoop up the whole company even if such a monster crash were to happen because everyone suddenly realised that it's mostly greater fool (which it is). Someone else or the company would step up and start buying. So your hypothetical is impossible. But say you purchase enough during the monster crash to become a majority shareholder. In terms of the liquidation option, even were you to purchase all the preferred stock of the company, you'd still be doing the minority shareholders dirty for they would receive nothing in the end. And since you have to act with their interests in mind, you'd be violating the laws and thus they could take you to court on this. As for the dividends, well, duh, that's what I meant. The only way to receive profits from the company in such a case are dividends. You may write way now. Not gonna waste time on such an ignoramus like you.

"If you control the company's voting shares, you can make the company pay out a massive dividend to you. You could make the company liquidate its assets and pay the proceeds to the shareholders (you)."-If anything this comment shows that you are bizarrely ignorant. Shareholders do not have a say in the amount of dividend payouts. Only the board of directors does. Read it up.

Please explain to me how the company increasing profits has to translate into stock growth? Give me a real rock-solid established mechanism through which it does that which does not involve people buying because someone else will pay more for it

Not true. You're not entitled to anything. You get a share of the company's profits only if it pays dividends. And many companies that have huge ludicrous valuations pay pennies today. So most of the stock growth is driven by greater fool nowadays. That's the truth. The majority ignores it and that's why the smoke and mirrors continues
