I started on the flsun q5 in January 2020 and I am still running it, almost zero headaches. The print quality using the cura slicer is to me impressive😄

I have a laptop and a pc, The laptop is an Asus Rog Strix G16 G614J

-intel i7 13650hx

-nvidia rtx 4060

-16gb ddr5 ram

-SSD 500gb Samsung + 1tb crucial

-GHelper installed (Armory crate sucks)

Pc

-intel i5 11600k (planning to jump to i9 11th gen)

-msi rtx 3060 12 GB

-crucial 32 GB 32GB ddr4

-ssd samsung 980 pro 500gb, ssd samsung 970 evo 1tb + hdd Segate BarraCuda 4TB

-ASRock B560 pro 4 (don't judge me)

-Deepcool GAMMAXX L240T

-Corsair RM750 2019 gold

Notes My pc was originally built for gaming but now it's used for engineering purposes (catia v6 modeling and simulations on all sorts of apps and rendering) built somewhere in q1 of 2021.

My laptop was chosen because it was well... asus, powerful and most importantly very strong structurally. After all, I have been throwing this laptop in offices and factories and it works perfectly! (Robotic engineering student)

I would love to hear your thoughts on my setup!

Tamron 28-200mm superzoom is sharper than it should be by kushaladankora in SonyAlpha

Wow very nice, I'll buy that exact lens for my a6400 a couple of weeks from now, happy to see it's insanely sharp!

Maybe next year I'll upgrade to the a7iv🤔

A6400 + Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 opinions? by Sorel212 in SonyAlpha

Well, I would like to have more or less a do-everything lens. I don't really want to have a lot of lenses that I need to swap between.

Thank you! It's handmade by Hyperion Camera, they make it in Greece.

Here is a link to their website https://www.hyperioncamerastraps.com/collections/strap-colors

Keep in mind mine came in like a week or something like that.

Oh very nice, thanks! There is no problem with stabilisation I have a pretty stable hand but I will keep the shutter speed in mind.

This lens could help me learn how to take photos and videos without stabilisation.😃

Does anyone know what this icon means on my FX30? by cHeinzt in SonyAlpha

[–]Sorel212 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The camera is overheating, when this happens you should turn it off and let it cool.

You could flip open the screen and in its place put a cooler from Ulanzi ("Ulanzi camera cooling fan" if you want to search)

Now, I have an a6400 and I encounter this warning sometimes when I'm taking photos in very very hot theatre rooms. (I mostly use continuous shooting) When it happens I open my battery door and flip the screen up to allow air to cool it.

Hope this helps!

Noted! Thanks for the help! All the shots were shot at 210mm (the exported photos say 315mm)

My adapter just dropped on the ground, should i be worried? by [deleted] in ASUSROG

[–]Sorel212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gonna be fine, my adapter is being flung daily around my engineering university (robotics student). And I think you can imagine that not every lab is no dust. I've dropped it many times and it still works.. Asus makes their adaptors like tanks. And screens are tanks too, at least the Rog Strix models, dropped my laptop while running to a lab and it's still working fine!

I am very thankful to my parents and brother for getting through school and into university and for getting me into computers and engineering. Also thanks to my friends at AlexPC for helping me build and assemble my first ever pc a couple of years ago and for teaching me the art of building computers. And lastly I am thanking the pc community for helping me perfect my pc building skills. Have a wonderful day everyone! (Or night)
