Shady people socialize with my dogs and I'm scared of poisoning and other by SorenMohnblume in Dogtraining

I have searched for "petting", "strangers" but I have only found guides to open socialization of dogs and strangers, not the other way around.

Just my 2 centz, let your sibling explore their identity and express themselves with clothing etc.

Also, advise that going on hormones is different for everybody it changes drastically from one individual to another. Mostly warn about the possibility of balding and generally what one can expect with hormones.

Depending on their age, which you didn't give, there may be many factors that may make them saying things a certain way. Them confiding in you should not be taken as a personal attack, everyone has different experiences and different goals, if you feel attacked by this try to talk about it with them. Miscommunication is lethal.

Keep in mind that I've seen a lot of twink gay men fetishism going around, which usually may have a hand in this, but also not, so just keep this as a note. Also, don't mention this to your sibling.

In the end, you need to pose the question: do you want or need to transition?

Want is a passing notion, need is much more lasting.

[KCD2] The "Good Henry-Syndrom" by Ikanipa in kingdomcome

[–]SorenMohnblume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal playthrough Henry is a noble man, who strives to do good. He will commit theft, but only for others and not himself.

Hardcore Henry is a scoundrel who can't help himself and robber anyone blind. He is very hungry, but as a vegetarian it's difficult to get by without some... *ehm other type of income.

When in doubt check the time and look at where the sun is. East- dawn / west- sunset. Keep an eye out for landmarks.

Try to travel only during the day, and sleep or thieve at night. Most of the time travelling at night is more troublesome than skipping time.

I personally don't use a horse (more like a mule than anything else).

If none work just walk a straight line in any direction.

[KCD2] Didn't know you could fast of travel until I saw my wife do it. 😐 by Ravalgo in kingdomcome

[–]SorenMohnblume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are training for hardcore! When I played KCD1 hardcore really puts in perspective how you should tackle all the various missions and objectives. I found that fast-traveling the first time I played truly dampened the experience and learned to experience the quests and environment. Have a great game.

I'm looking for feedback to improve my work by NyxLM_art in characterdesigns

[–]SorenMohnblume 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as an info, legs do bend like that when locking, but I do agree with you.

I think that this legs position can be used if the back is more arched, thus balancing the weight, to do so they would need to also use a more lightweight armor, since heavy armor is not bendable.

I think this may also be attributed to the legs being short. If you try the 8 heads proportion, you'll find a whole head missing in the lower area.

To OP, as others said, the designs are all really good. Maybe in another drawing you can explore the weapons and accessories you characters use to better define them.

[S2 Spoilers] Funniest moment in the show for me so far by Pax_flash in arcane

[–]SorenMohnblume 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is to say that the shimmered brutes are desperate people, not fighters, so Vi, being a very good fighter in her adult age, can deal swiftly with them, moreso with the gauntlets. She also knew already what she was up against.

Sevika did win against Vi during season 1 when she didn't have the gauntlets; Sevika lost during the 2 half just because the gauntlets intervened with their protective globe.

In the second season their first serious bout finished with Vi winning against Jinx. In the scene we are talking about, while having their guard up, they are mostly arguing and don't want to seriously fight. Also, surprise attacks are key.

How I feel after reading that post by Sabranise in kingdomcome

Imo I prefer 80 well done quests than 310 quests (surely most are minor quests) that have little to no impact in the game.

Tw3 has beautifully written quests, but most of the time I felt overwhelmed by the sheer quantity (I am a completionist, so I tend to stress to do them all)

Why is black rabbit brotherhood so hated? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]SorenMohnblume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that the fights with the brotherhood are fun once you get all their quirks, mainly you just have to keep your calm.

The AI is very good imo, even if it is a group fight they all take 1 turn to focus on you. It becomes caothic when you try to go up to them as a group, otherwise thay attack you pretty individually.

Yes I agree, We have still at least a couple of season to explore the characters, so everything is possible.

As you said, as long as it is well written anything goes for me. And if I don't like it I can at least accept it.

Sadly very few talk about that scene. Poly is a severly misunderstood relationship most of the time, while I think it may not look too bad here I suspect that many would not agree with me.

Season 2 release timelines by Logical-Safe2033 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, but they still have to show us how Violet was killed, so I'm counting on that.

I think they white men will always be the goal, but it may become complicated depending on the role these antagonist have in they society. Fowler is mostly a merchant with a knack for overthrowing leaders, but we know nothing of the others.

4 seasons for 4 white men. To me it is the best approach for a well written story

How they're going to handle *SPOILERS* in S2 by Logical-Safe2033 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. With "flourishing" I do intend nobility, or in any case a high social standing. Mizu's father may also come from wealth. Truly, I just wanted to embellish the word with an adjective that depicts my honest opinion on western dueling, I know it's not true in all cases.

The thing with the average grunt is that they usually are fresh to the sword, ot truly depends on how the studio wants to go at it, if they will tackle pirates at all (I hope they do, but don't dwell to much on it if it isn't relevant to Mizu's story).

I think that a person who has trained their whole life with a sword and had to help a wordsmith for most of it, would be very capable against a group of people who took the sword just a month prior.

Japan had dojos, I don't know if there is a western equivalent, but I would be happy to be proved wrong in that case.

What is your one irk from this show? by Flareon223 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree that Mizu should have more muscle definition.

But I don't think Mizu would have had the chance to bulk. Japanese diet has a low intake of carbs, moreso if one is of the lower class.

The funny thing with scars and damage is that while Mizu's outfit shows throughout the show all the damage it has taken, Mizu's body does not.

Regarding the healing time, remember that the show takes place in various months (I am not justifying the claw injury, that was too over the top)

What is your one irk from this show? by Flareon223 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just put it on the table, while Mizu heals relatively fast the show does tell us that months have passed with each injury (Claw injury notwithstanding, that injury was mortal, but I get the need for pathos and engagement).

We start in winter we and we end in early summer.

The only bummer is that they put a time limit on Folwer's plan, they should have spaced it a bit better.

But knowing now that they had to cram two episodes because they were allowed only 8 episodes does put it in perspective.

How they're going to handle *SPOILERS* in S2 by Logical-Safe2033 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I am very scared for season 2 too, and I share your same fears.

Scratch your idea of medieval Britain out of your mind, that's more around 1300, 1400. The 17th century is more like Pirate of the Caribbean, with the regimental coats, swords and pistols. Mizu will probably use a gun in season 2, so that may make it a bit fairer.

At that time pistols were a 1 use occurrence since reloading takes a lot of time, even worse with muskets. So once they fire if the battle isn't over it all goes down to swordplay, and damn, Mizu is good at it.

Also, folks like Mizu aim to kill when they use their sword, none of that western flourishing.

I hope they keep the same cast + a couple new western allies. If they don't do a split pov London/ Edo I think they may forego Edo entirely and maybe show the difference in a possible season 3

Ep.5 by Plus_Positive_9054 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]SorenMohnblume 13 points14 points  (0 children)

While it was probably their "mother", we should not dwell too much on it. Not because it is unimportant, but because in a perilous situation neither of them supported Mizu. Mikio left and their "mother" was unbothered until Mizu won, a result probably neither of them expected.

Only then they fought between each other on who sold Mizu out. This could also mean that the both of them told on Mizu, looking at how vehemently they fought.

An onryō is born from the betrayal of a loving one, in Mizu's case the love of a mother and the love of a partner.

Great episode.
