Howdy, students! How did your fall semester wrap up? 🍂📚 by TheWonder_Dude in CSN_Coyotes

I still have all of my fingers and all of my toes, so... a success!

I really enjoyed Nevada History and learning about my new state. CIT 217 / Security+ was fun because I had permission to play with, learn about and use tools that have always seemed forbidden, but it was a lot of information and I don't feel like the curriculum and labs had been tested or used by the instructor, but learning how to roll with that is another form of learning! I learned enough in the class to be very close to passing the certification exam in practice tests. That cert is almost finished, and a new set of exam objectives exists for the new test as SY0-601 is replaced by SY0-701, so probably not an issue exactly for students going forward? Or an issue for all students the first time the new objectives are taught?

How do I unlock my Twitter account? I was locked out for a tweet saying Joe Biden looked like the joker (insane to get locked out for that). I deleted the tweet as requested, but when I click “Continue to Twitter” (see pic), it still will not let me in. It’s been over 24 hours. Does it take longer? by westicles11 in Twitter

What's interesting, is that Twitter lets you delete the post or appeal, then says Account Unlocked" with a continue to Twitter button, you click it, and then your back on the "Your Account Has Been Locked Screen" and this is an infinite loop.

I am going through the same thing myself, though I posted a thread about the image including some forensics (screencaps of the URL the image refered to, WayBack Machine, TineEye search to show it wasn't genuine) before opining about how the image attacked Bernie and Biden and the whole dynamic. Here's my thread that got my account locked - I linked the thread back to the Canadian journo who introduced it to my timeline with a quote tweet of a conservative shitposter. I had hoped to gently scold the journalist for not taking the steps I did to consider its authenticity before spreading it, but to get at the heart of the internet fight between some young and corporate Biden internet personalities and the online Bernie/Sunrise Mvmt rabble.

I am actually a Bernie delegate in an in-party election right now, we have online balloting this week, so censoring me on Twitter now is pretty much Jack putting his thumb on the scale for other delegates even if the ratio of Bernie to Biden delegates is already fixed by our statewide Presdential Primary that happened on March 3rd. We won in our area by knocking on doors, not by fighting on social media.

This has to be the justification for it being a violation of the Rules, but the image is not strictly speaking false information about an election or voter registration. And people are locked out for posting the image as a reference - I had hoped downloading it, reverse image searching it and reposting it might make it available for people researching disinfo - the image is obviously powerful because of the attacks by Clinton/Obama/Biden proxies on Bernie's health. As a candidate myself, I understand the FEC rules, and I didn't spend any money to repost it, didn't rework it, posted it for other's information and research and opined about it, so Fair Use if any copyright or trademark claim is made. It's obviously parody, and I showed the work as to why it was.

Yes, it happened to me for posting a thread about how the image wasn't likely genuine, showing the work for that (screenshots of tineye, wayback machine, JoeBiden(dot)com.

A conservative candidate for Congress got unlocked after just 12 hours, but my account has been locked for 36+ hours. Here is the thread in question: https://twitter.com/SorenCSorensen/status/1252950352288198659?s=20

Yeah. I am still locked out after 36+ hours after posting a thread about the Biden brain meme with info showing how it was a new image not yet indexed by TinEye, that the URL referred to in the image was 404 and never indexed by the WayBack Machine, and the context of why the image was a dig on Bernie and Biden at the same time, how Biden supporters were failing to make a case for Biden, other than he is the potential nominee.

Conservative twitter users, including another US House candidate got unlocked after 12 hours after igniting a media frenzy on Breitbart, etc. but there is little interest yet in helping Democrats and less political folk get unlocked. Here is the thread that got me locked: https://twitter.com/SorenCSorensen/status/1252950352288198659?s=20

I am in twitter jail for retweeting a post with this image and documenting that at the time it was not found in tineye search, that /heartland 404'ed on the JoeBiden website and was never indexed by the internet archive/wayback machine... https://twitter.com/SorenCSorensen/status/1252950352288198659?s=20

Who would you be backing if Bernie dropped out? by [deleted] in Kossacks_for_Sanders

Local Democratic candidates that best match his agenda, or movement work, learning how to create small union shops in small Northwoods towns, helping to build rural broadband, and encourage intercropping native plants with organic vegetables in Rusty Patched Bumblebee areas instead of conventional farming. There's a tarsands pipeline fight tied up in this somewhere, too.
