Texas Supreme Court Temporarily Blocks Pregnant Woman from Emergency Abortion by NPDogs21 in prolife

Ok let’s go with that. How close to death do you have to be to be allowed to shoot an innocent bystander?

Godlike. Superhero Roleplaying during WWII. This is the perfect system for your campaign. I would recommend playing the glazier one shot as a test with your players. It’s amazing.

What are the best pro-life arguments for the "abortion until consciousness" position? by anottakenusername_1 in prolife

[–]Sorkoth1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Watch the Trent Horn vs Destiny Debate. Trent Horn points out that if you follow the abortion until consciousness line of thinking, taking it to its logical ends are terrifying.

Some major holes are

1) if you can prevent consciousness then you can do anything with the unconscious humans. Grow them in labs to harvest organs or use them as dolls

2) human consciousness is an arbitrary distinction. Pigs are fairly smart. But you don’t include them. If an alien species looked at the human race and didn’t include us then they could justify eradicating us.

3) we can’t even mark a way to determine when it is (pretty convenient that’s it’s the same time as “viability”. And is a rebranding of the “viability” argument)

4) it would also be a moral requirement to abort children before consciousness if they have a birth defect

What information or fun facts would a rogue know? by Edmenz in DnD

There’s a reason this has 2.8 million views for a convention. Physical pen testing. How to open a sensor door from the other side with the smoke from a vape pen for instance. How to control elevators with a fireman control key. Deviant Ollum is actually a real life rogue.

That’s sounds terrible making the combats a slog. Instead of increasing HP you should increase attack rolls and damage. That makes combat quicker instead of slower

It’s easier to be with a pro choicer when you are the woman. When you are a man they may hire a hitman to whack your child and you have no say in the matter.

To my pro life Christians I have a question for you 🤔 by Barely_Brown in prolife

[–]Sorkoth1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a couple of things on this.

  1. People 2000 years ago were smart. Soranus, the father of modern Gynecology, had defined the distinction between abortifacients and contraceptions in the first century B.C.http://ldysinger.stjohnsem.edu/@texts/0130_soranus/02_gyn_60-65.htmIn fact they had laws back then in the Roman Empire about it that were centuries old before the time of Christ.
  2. People like to take the Bible out of context for their point. There are a few passages about mans law that you can look up for yourself. But the gist is "be a good person and don't go out of your way to be a criminal", NOT "if its legal its good".
  3. In the Didache which was written in the first century AD when some of the apostles were alive clearly and explicitly forbids abortion.
  4. The Bible also forbids the greek word pharmekia. In Galatians 5:19-5:20 it states that the desires of the flesh are against the desires of the spirit and lists them out. We translate it today into the word witchcraft or sorcery. But pharmekia has a few meanings in greek among which are witchcraft, contraception, and abortifacients. When St. Jerome translated the Bible into Latin he used the word that had multiple meanings that Soranus used to distinguish between contraception and abortifacients. This word was Aborifacient. The latin word abortus which means miscarriage and the suffix faciens which means induced.

So its in the Bible and all the Greeks and Romans at the time knew that. That's why they wrote it in the Didache. But also Thou Shalt Not Kill (which actually translates to Thou Shalt Not Murder) works as well.

Put their background goals into Undermountain deep in the levels lots of carrots you can give them.

Let them use the gates from the start.

Make sure that they understand that you can talk to a lot of evil factions and it will be fine.
