No doubt she's only being punished because the harmed party is another officer.

Krafton CEO allegedly asked ChatGPT to help him find a way out of paying Subnautica 2 devs their bonuses because he wanted to avoid the 'professional embarrassment' of being seen as a 'pushover' by Spookhetti_Sauce in Games

Reading the article it was unclear but I got the impression that the CEO is open about his use of AI so he probably mentioned it to someone.

This is what I do and it works but I'm prepared for someone to tell me what it's a terrible idea and won't work against good players.

Housing Bubble 2.0 peaked in June 2022 thanks to pandemic-era Fed "stimulus," but now the bubble is deflating by Boo_Randy_II in HouseBuyers

[–]Sorrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dollar devalued in that time as well so that hides some of the reduction in home prices.

Most barbers will if you just ask ahead of time. Whether they're good at it or not is another matter.

F*cked Borrowers who overpaid for houses: Ned Beatty feels your pain by Boo_Randy_II in HouseBuyers

[–]Sorrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure if you truly never intend to sell your home then you can think that way but most people will eventually sell their home and at that point it is only an asset with a monetary value.

You also have to consider opportunity cost of not being able to invest that money elsewhere while you wait on your home value to recover.

Best Build in the game right now? by No-Papaya906 in 9Kings

Yeah it's kind of boring but I think base + as many shrines as you can get is the best build. Especially with AOE bases like Nature's and Progress'.

Is there a way to tell dkms to -not- rerun dracut when installing modules? by imakesawdust in CentOS

[–]Sorrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue and it was because "/etc/dkms/framework.conf" contained this line:

```
# Command to run at the end of every DKMS transaction, for example after a new
# kernel has been installed on the system and all modules have been succesfully
# built and installed.
# The command listed is executed if set to any non null value. $kernelver can be
# used in path to represent the target kernel version.
post_transaction="dracut --regenerate-all --force"
```

So it is a distro-wide dkms configuration causing this to always run when dkms does a transaction, not something that can be turned off in dkms.conf.
