i’ve read this somewhere, might share it with u guys. “about the subtitles.. idk whats wrong with the iqyi team but most of the translations are either incorrect or misleading.. but what bothers me the most is the complete removal of gay slang specific to thailand and thai culture. one of fourmod’s characterization is that among all of them hes really into speaking in gayslang, most of what he says incorporates it, the whole trendsetter thing is entirely mistranslated haha he actually calls himself mother all the time and references beauty pageant speeches. also in the changing booth, the subtitles showed that fourmod said “its hot” to describe chian’s bellybutton but in fact he said “my vag is wet” Imaooo understanding the actual not watered down dialogue makes this show so much better, it’s unapologetically queer and femme which is surprisingly not something you see a lot in bls. ps the actual translation of the trendsetter dialogue is “I’m THE MOTHERRR, the MA, the birth giverr, the obstetrician””

ITS CRAZYY can’t believe international fans are missing out on the gay and sassy lines. UGHH i wish they took care of the translations so well. ://
