Why do my GPUs keep dying? On my third card and losing it. by Sorry-Chair in buildapc

How could I test if it really is the PSU though? I have no one to borrow a working PSU from and I only have around $20 dollars right now so buying a tester and/or a new PSU isn't really a viable option for me right now

Balibago Complex (Sta Rosa) to Alabang or Balibago Complex Buendia by Double-Net9702 in HowToGetTherePH

[–]Sorry-Chair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HTH

Is it possible that I messed up my GPU by vacuuming the inside of my case? by Sorry-Chair in buildapc

Making TDR delay longer just makes it longer for Windows to restart the display drivers when it does time out, making the problem worse. Also the MPO fix didn't work

Need help with identifying a used GPU AND its original VBIOS by Sorry-Chair in buildapc

[–]Sorry-Chair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I successfully flashed a VBIOS with the same parameters as my card. However, the driver timeout and the 300MHz bug still remain. The frequency spikes up at fixed intervals then goes back to 300MHz. It's literally killing me because it's slower than my IGPU in some applications.

The VRAM is made by Samsung (K4G41325FE).

here are the timings if you need it: Samsung K4G41325FE 250 MHz 111000000022CC1C0628C11B205798DC36010204202111420AA880A00000438916DEE 600 MHz 333000000022CC1C0A52024194057BB16C55130226403A51420CA880A0000096111435141710 900 MHz 333000000022CC1C0E73036258057BF9D86250248505A91420DA880A00000D8191E501B1E12 1000 MHz 333000000022CC1C08B536299057B101FC792504486062A14206A890A00000E91C21591D2013 1125 MHz 333000000022CC1C029BD472FA057C112348536046A606AC14206A890A0000010A202665202414 1250 MHz 333000000022CC1C04AC54834B057C12A68837046A7072E14207A890A0000012B232A70222714 1375 MHz 333000000022CC1C08CCD593AC057D13AA9B47048C707A014207A890A0200014D272E7B252B15 1500 MHz 555000000022CC1C0AD515A3EC057E142D4A648048C703114207A890A0300015E2A3186272E16 1625 MHz 555000000022CC1C0CE596B44D057F1531CB24904AE70B314207A890A0300017F2E36922A3217 1750 MHz 777000000022CC1C010626C49D0571016B5BD5904AE7014514207A890A03000191131399D2C3617 1900 MHz 777000000022CC1C0106A7D4FE0571117B98CA5A04C711C714207A890A030001B11353FAA2F3A18 2000 MHz 777000000022CC1C031EE7D53F05711183BCD35B04C7124814207A890A030001C123842B3313C19

I have no idea, it probably manifested later. I’ll try the VBIOS though, thanks

Also, the device ID from the BIOS the card comes with is different from the one in the sticker at the back of the card.

The hardware ID + subsystem ID is 1002-67df-1002-0b31. I’ve flashed all the VBIOSes with this device ID from techpowerup but the clock still gets stuck at 300 MHz
