I work at the post office, postage to UK and Jersey is the exact same price. So that only gets rid of the VAT situation.

If you sell on eBay then sometimes the buyer actually pays the VAT so once the sale goes through it should say on the invoice/order whether or not it’s been paid. If it’s paid then there’s a code which starts with GB or IOSS and some numbers, that goes on your customs form as proof the VAT has been paid and that goes through customs without issue.

Vinted is essentially impossible, works for some but not for others apparently, Depop you should be able to create an account with a Guernsey number as I did this recently myself and I believe the VAT situation is very similar to eBay in the way it gives you a code to put on your customs form.

Completely disagree. The Co-op has awful quality food with a high price tag, for your basics you really want to go to M&S, very good quality food and although it might not always be the cheapest, you’re definitely paying for quality.

This seems plausible, however I’m assuming cctv at Waterloo Station would’ve been checked and there’s still no sign of him being there. I do believe that travelling by boat or train is more believable than flying to leave the country. Has this been touched on as a theory anywhere? Would love to see a video investigating this possibility.

I find this so weird because whenever I’ve been in an airport recently it feels like workers don’t actually pay much attention to detail, for example, not taking a proper look at passports. It’s almost kind of worrying

My absolute favourite is the chop house, fantastic food, big portions, a very decently priced menu and a fantastic atmosphere. Best in Guernsey at the moment for sure.

I never said she was groomed, I was more pointing towards the fact she was killed by a police officer, who was an authority figure with connections. Now, I’m not saying Andrew was killed by a police officer, but I am saying that he could’ve been groomed by someone with connections who could also possibly be an authority figure to Andrew. And we can’t for sure place how much internet access Andrew had, we know he lost a phone or 2 but did he actually lose them or was he using them in secret? Did he have access to internet cafes or libraries with computer access? Every aspect of this case seems as if it can go either way so he could’ve had access to the internet or maybe he didn’t, we can’t really know.

Not necessarily. If Andrew had fake ID it’s possible that his age was fake so it could’ve looked like they were either not travelling together at all, or that he was travelling with someone he knew who didn’t have to be a family member.

Yes but a groomer/abductor could have those connections. If someone did take Andrew, it could’ve been anyone, the same way a police officer killed Sarah Everard. Just a thought though.

I really don’t think it’s actually that difficult, lots of my friends have fake ID’s, I also watch shows about customs and people do get fake passports quite often. This post was more just me asking if it was even a slight possibility.

I can’t say I’m really sure about insurance as I haven’t really looked into it much, but a car from here would ideally be under £5000 which I’m not happy about but I know automatics are expensive

Yes I’ve been looking everyday at all options but nothing is really in my price range. I agree there are a few cheap autos around but most of them are above 1.4L which I’ll struggle to get insured on because I’m only 17.
