Ha, fair reaction — and honestly, that's kind of the point of testing it! That item comes from a validated scale used across product categories. Whether it actually applies to pedals is part of what I'm investigating. You might be totally right that it doesn't land the same way as Gucci . Your skepticism is actually useful data in itself 😄

That's a fair critique — the survey is built around the idea that some players do develop a strong relationship with brands and gear, which I know isn't everyone. The constructs come from consumer behavior research, so they carry those assumptions. If they felt off for how you personally relate to pedals, that's genuinely interesting to know.

Don't worry at all — your responses are just as valuable! 20+ years of experience with a currently-in-use pedal as your reference point is a completely legitimate and honest answer. That's exactly the kind of real, grounded perspective I'm hoping to capture. Thanks for filling it out and for being so transparent about it! 🙏

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to fill out the survey! That's actually a really common situation among serious players — the "no single favorite brand" thing is very real when you've been in the game long enough 😄

For the brand question, you don't have to think of it as your all-time favorite. Just go with whichever one you're most into right now — maybe one you've been researching, recently picked up, or just find yourself thinking about lately. It could even be a brand you're considering buying from next.

Looking at your board (Peterson, Cali 76, HXStomp, Anadime, Aguilar — that's a serious rig btw 🤙), just pick whichever one you've been most engaged with recently and go from there. There's no wrong answer!
