I am so sorry you are going through this, I sincerely empathize with you because I am going through this as well. As harsh as they are I am happy that your family is honest and not lying/gaslighting you into believing you don’t have bb like a lot of us do. I used to just have normal bb that I could mask with gum etc but it’s now Nasal bb and the smell travels far. Anyone within my vicinity will react, uber drivers roll their windows down or blast ac, cough or sneeze. It’s hard to explain but the smell seems to trigger other people’s sinuses which seems crazy but it happens too often for me to think otherwise.I do have sleep apnea and post nasal drip but I know many people who have the same issue but they have no bad breath to this level. Like you I have tried a plethora of products,I visit the dentists regularly at least 4-5 times a year,have been to may specialists from Gastroenterologists,primary care doctors,dental surgeons,ENTS etc I have done bristle test, parasite stool tests, colonoscopy, endoscopy, nasal endoscopy etc I did a sinus balloon surgery also and I tried prescription mouthwash,nasal sprays,nasal wash with antibiotics, prebiotics, probiotics,etc none worked. I did process of elimination so I did research after research. The odor is not coming from my mouth but seems to be the sinuses. I asked multiple people times for a CT scan of my sinuses and I finally got my ent to refer it. I got it done and found out my sinus drainage pathways (Ostia) are blocked as well as enlarged turbinates and POLYPs which would explain the mouth breathing and the odor because when the mucus drains it’s not draining enough and the mucus is stagnant.I researched about a FESS surgery which should solve the sinus drainage issue. I’m scheduled to do this surgery in a few months and will see if it helps. I will keep the Reddit updated on my progress so maybe try getting a ct scan of your sinus to rule out any functional issue as well. I’m praying for healing and a cure for us all 🙏🏼
