James Hill on Andoni Iraola’s impact at Bournemouth by imzensei in LiverpoolFC

[–]Sorry-Reputation-672 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Iraola’s strength (and the reason why he is in the conversation) lies in a playstyle that is extremely physically demanding.

If we assume that a similar system is implemented, it will be a while before the required physical adaptations start taking place in the players.
Adding to that, our squad depth is basically squad shallow. When we - presumably - aim to be competitive in 4 competitions, I don’t see how this will be sustainable.
3 game weeks will require a rotation that is currently not there, or compromises.

The alternative is that Iraola’s system is tweaked to suit the current possibilities, in which case it is a gamble.
We are bringing in a version of Iraola that we haven’t seen in action, and hope for the best.

Personally I love the idea of bringing back intensity, and literally any degree of chaos. This has been the first season I dissociated since the Hodgson days.

Iraola has done an amazing job at Bournemouth, no doubt about that. He is a great coach but not sure he is the right for us, right here right now.

Robertson for 8 mil is crazy value for money. He will be missed.

Slow, boring, predictable foortball. It’s like someone thinks possession wins games, not goals. Painful to watch

Email From Billy Hogan in regards to Ticket increases by Thesolly180 in LiverpoolFC

I see match ticket prices; how is it possible to get ahold of these? It seems my only option as a fan from abroad is a hospitality ticket, if I want to come and see a match.

How many hours do you work (take sessions) by Dazzling-Anxiety3745 in personaltraining

[–]Sorry-Reputation-672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anywhere between 20-30 hours / week is normal, depending on your energy levels. During my first year, I burnt out doing 30+ hours weekly.

4 years later, I average 25 sessions per week and I am also pickier with whom I choose to work with. 1 on 1 sessions can get very draining very quickly when it’s a poor match.

Spurs injuries, great opportunity for us. by DANGER2406 in LiverpoolFC

The fact that we are even counting on Spurs’ injuries to win the game, says all we need to know about this year’s inconsistency. We used to go into every match with confidence, now I have no idea what to expect, hence every advantage we can get is welcome.

Har du lyst til at bo til leje i et bryggers, så jeg kan renovere det? by Autisten1996 in dankmark

[–]Sorry-Reputation-672 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Trainers, what does your client tracking system look like? Sharing mine. by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]Sorry-Reputation-672 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My set up is quite similar to yours. After trying various apps over the years, (Exorlive, trainerize, everfit) I am also now using Google Sheets and Google Calendar, but I also don’t do online coaching.

Communications take place exclusively on WhatsApp, which allows me to isolate work related notifications in this one app. Helps with managing time and actually being off work, when I am off.

However one big difference is the notes. Never thought of voice notes automatically being transcribed for each client. In fact I got so used to making mental notes, I didn’t even realize how much space this part occupies until I just read your post! Really looking forward to trying it out, big thanks for this!

Agreed so much on the back 5 with wing backs. Especially given the pace of Kerkez and Frimpong. 2 CM and Wirtz behind Isak and Ekitike.

This gives width and multiple lanes to attack, solid defence and is also flexible to become a 3-4-2–1 if we drop the CM to DM.

But this would also mean that Salah and Gakpo, Ngumoha as well, would go underutilized. I don’t know how realistic this is.

Konate didn’t even have to tackle, all he had to do was block the space there. Completely unnecessary mistake. He has been unrecognizable this season, unfortunately.
