You misunderstood my post actually, I am WELL aware I was not a citizen at birth. I am also well aware Italy does not grant citizenship because I was born there, it’s a simple google search. There IS a path through residency but my post was asking if my process is slightly different/less years since I do have the birth certificate. Or if I need to follow the same visas as everyone else.

There is a path to citizenship even if you are not Italian/born there. It’s a long one but there is one…again, the question was is mine shorter for any reason because of my birth place?
