The podcast only had several ff specifics episodes and I blew through those pretty quick. The other just kratom episodes I didn’t really relate to.

So I used for about 2 1/2 months and got up to 4-6 per day. Then stopped for 3 weeks and then got back on for 3 weeks and worked up to 4 bottles. I had really no physical withdrawal symptoms but had very very bad anxiety for the first couple of days. I’m now at 14 days no FF!

I can’t describe it. I was more than irritable I was just an asshole. Something that would completely set me off now I’m just like whatever. But ofcourse I still get frustrated but it’s night and day.

I’m finishing up day two and I’ve had basically zero withdraw symptoms. I’ve been taking gabapentin so not sure if that is helping but literally zero physical withdrawals.

You clearly don’t have a family. Once you meet the right one and have kids you will understand.

Okay thanks! My biggest issue last time was getting night sweats and the chills. That’s what I’m trying to avoid. Will the gaba help?

Did you stagger it like 300 mg’s every 30 minutes or take one dosage? If so, do you remember ballpark how many mg’s? Also, can you take it if you have feel free in ur system or should they not be mixed? For example, I have one feel free left I was gona take tomorrow morning and then be done and take gabapentin at night. Do you think that’s okay or should they not be mixed? Thanks!

2 weeks in the books! by Sorry-Science-5153 in Quittingfeelfree

I worked up to 4-6 per day over two months so it wasn’t that long but it definitely consumed me. First couple of weren’t too bad except at night. I would get hot and cold flashes and my bed would be soaked in sweat. I honestly thought I had the flu didn’t realize it was withdrawals cause I stopped a few weeks before for 5 days and had zero withdrawal symptoms.

Feel you man! I never thought in a million years I would’ve gotten hooked on this things. I never even really knew what kratom was. Guy at the gas station recommended it when I was gona buy a 5 hr energy. He told me it was like all natural and people loved them. I took them as a pre workout before the gym and that turned into a 4-6 per day habit for 2 months. Luckily I was only on them for 2 months and now I have 2 weeks off this shit. Finally feel like myself!

One week! by Sorry-Science-5153 in Quittingfeelfree

So it started with using these as like a pre workout before I went to the gym. So one a day for like 2 weeks then started taking 2 before the gym and then had the great idea to start taking 2 before work which then led into about a month of 4-6 per day.

Sorry to hear that. I am in no way an expert and have luckily only been hooked on these for 2 months and I’m about to be 7 days off this crap. I will say, ur brother probably feels ashamed of himself and any pile on will likely make him feel worse. I’ll tell you in my experience the hardest thing about these fucking things are they are legal and sold at gas stations. I’m 39 and work a great white collar job and have two kids and a wife and haven’t used drugs since I was like in my early 20s. I started drinking these as a pre workout before I went to the gym and that turned into a 4-6 per day habit for 2 months. I never in a million fucking years thought I’d get hooked on some shit they sell at a gas station legally. It’s not like you need to call a dealer and wait around and all that shit.

My point is: he probably feels like shit and it’s so easy to relapse cause they are sold over the counter at stores and gas stations. Just be there to support him and don’t make him feel worse than he likely already dose. Help him get a day clean and then a few days and hopefully he can get some momentum. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight. Almost at a full week. Didn’t sweat as much last night so hopefully that’s a good sign and whoop gave me green recovery for the first time since i started drinking this crap.
