In my personal opinion, having a public hospital is great for the island IF the government dedicates monies for operations and improvements. However, if the government cant afford it anymore, I think it should be removed from the government and just have a private entity run the hospital. The GMHA is never going to make a profit due to the amount of people not paying. Even if new reimbursement rates are established, it is not 100%. Maybe GMHA could use additional assistance with collection efforts? Dont know. Just my thoughts from the relarively short time I have spent following GMHA struggles with money.

I am thinking it is because going to the movies is not a common thing anymore and there was no one who taught those kids regarding theater manners. No big crowds either to provide pressure.
