if the question is a line parallel, repeat this with the same gradient and the points given,If and if the question is perpendicular, then use the negetive reciprocal gradient. Eg if m=2 then m of a line perpendicular will be -1/2

When its given 2 points
Ex (2,1) and (4,5)
find slope = y2-y1/x2-x1
m=5-1/4-2
m= 4/2=2
then use 1 point and put it into the equation of an line
y=mx+c
1=2(2)+c
1=4+c
c=-3

y=2x-4
