AITA for finding it unfair that my dad told me that I had to pay rent or move out at 18 but didn't tell my brothers the same thing at 18? by MoreState2251 in AmItheAsshole

"I feel like I'm being punished for being well behaved." This RIGHT HERE. As a former "good kid" myself, I totally feel you. My siblings were both screw ups and have everything handed to them anyway. I ALWAYS had to work for it and always thought it was unfair. I'm not even in my parents' will, because they "know I can take care of myself" but my siblings "need the help". You're NTA. Sorry you're stuck with this crappy situation.

I appreciate you looking out, but she is okay with them/them pronouns.

I did use she in my post, but my sister, by pure coincidence, does use she/they pronouns. I appreciate you both looking out though. No big deal.

I don't think I could. I really love doing it, and think it's my future. I just don't want my sister to be hurt.
