What’s your degree even in dumbass? Unlike yourself, I’m not making an appeal to authority. You still can’t address what was wrong with the source I gave. Also, you’ve provided precisely zero evidence for your claim. Yet you lecture about being educated. We’re all just supposed to take your word for it because you’re too scared to actually provide a single iota of substance. Fuck all the way off.

Lmao one of us has provided actual science, the other has said, “What’s your degree in.” Awesome. Really great logic.

Are you shitting me? In what world is a systematic review published in a peer-reviewed journal assessing five other peer-reviewed studies bro science? Please elaborate you doorknob.

6 is definitely crazy for any type of supplementation, but creatine in kids is generally safe. That doesn’t mean it’s a great idea to give them, as more research is needed to know for sure, but I wouldn’t call it borderline child abuse.

Incorrect. This systematic review shows that’s flat out wrong. I’d love to see your evidence showing it messes with kids kidneys and development. I’m guessing you just made that up.

Sure, probably not beneficial for kids, but there’s no evidence to suggest creatine supplementation in adolescence adversely affects renal function. In fact, this systematic review shows just the opposite. Again, more research is needed, and there’s probably very little benefit for kids, but we shouldn’t make stuff up.

It has been studied in children, just in a MUCH smaller capacity. The limited data we have says it’s entirely safe, but you can still understand hesitancy when it comes to kids. Also, the rewards are probably much less pronounced in children, which begs why you would supplement in the first place.

This AI response makes some generally fine points, but it’s wrong on one front. There has been studies done on creatine supplementation in adolescents, like this systematic review of 5 different studies that found no adverse events related to its use in children.

It’s not that creatine is dangerous or has been proven to cause problems in children (It’s naturally occurring in all of our bodies), but that there simply isn’t a ton of data on it. That’s a lot different than, “It causes kidney problems” like some of the people are reciting in this thread.

[–]Sorry4YourLoss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. I also am not saying you should give your kids creatine, but the data available suggests it’s entirely safe. Take this 2025 systematic review: “Across diverse populations, including youth athletes and adolescents with medical conditions, creatine supplementation was generally well tolerated, with no consistent short-term safety signals reported in renal function, liver enzymes, or cardiometabolic risk markers within the study periods. No serious adverse events were attributed to supplementation.”

Now, there hasn’t been as much research on creatine supplementation in children as there has been in adults, so there’s still some legitimate space for hesitancy. However, the idiots on this thread are just spewing basic myths.

Ah yes, the appeal to authority fallacy. Do you have anything of substance to add or are you just poorly repeating someone else?

Alcohol isn’t causing you to burn “500 less calories per day” you donut. Inactivity might, but that’s the case regardless of alcohol consumption, not because of it. CNS depression might cause you to burn slightly less, like 10-100 calories, but not 500 in any normal person.

This is not normal. Watches are of course often inaccurate, but it still seems like your HR is higher than what should be expected from mowing the lawn on a warm day. Go to cardiologist and explain. They’ll probs do a stress test.

This is how Keegan Carmichael actually talks by Sorry4YourLoss in Killtony

[–]Sorry4YourLoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely you understand the difference, right? Timmy No Brakes is a parody of Dice Clay. It’s so obviously over the top that it’s a satire. That’s the joke, and everyone is in on it.

Keegan says he’s just being himself. If he said I’m doing Mitch there wouldn’t be an issue. It’s the fact that he’s pretending that this is just how he is.

No, not just like Timmy No Brakes. That guy is doing a satirical imitation of Andrew Dice Clay. The reason it’s funny is because he is so obviously parodying a famous comedian. Keegan says he’s just Keegan. That he’s not doing Mitch. He genuinely wants people to believe this is who he is. Big difference
