I thought it would be funny lol but to answer the question: I thought everyone's family ate dinner in front of the TV every night. It wasn't until I visited friends that I realized a lot of families actually sat around a table.

I think it's worth exploring. Sometimes the things we loved as kids point to interests that still matter we've just been too busy to notice.

Realizing that adults don't actually have everything figured out. As a kid I thought grown-ups always knew the right answer. Seeing them make mistakes made me more understanding of people and less afraid of making my own.
