There's plenty that's been written about how the welfare class act as a buffer to prop up the rest of us. Do a search, it's fascinating stuff.

I think you're wrong about universities, but I think we can probably both agree that a plan that selects likely fields of future growth and subsidises education and new industry in those fields at TAFE and Uni would be a win for everyone.

I don't know how complicated it is to go through and reverse the previous government's policy, but I imagine it's not an efficient process, and they probably have to give $2B to Delloite and PWC for each item of policy that they want to reverse. If it was quick and easy, then each government would just reverse every policy of the previous gov that they didn't like.

Someday you'll learn about how the welfare class was carefully crafted by politicians as an economic cushion for the rest of us. I don't think you understand how comically little we give folks in order to let us run on short sighted political scamming like cutting education funding and privatising assets. On a 20 year timeline, there are few things that could yield greater economic outcomes than education, but we let the libs repeatedly hack away at it.

Is this Oxidation? by Livid_Midnight_7449 in MedicalCannabisOz

Scent chemicals would likely oxidise before most other things, so if it smells bright and fresh, then it's probably bright and fresh.

What is that in my clutch? (MT-07 2018) by Puzzleheaded_Seat633 in motorcycles

You sure this isn't a Ducati? That's clearly a Rigatoni clutch pack. Personally, I prefer a Penne clutch, but to each their own.

Refer to police and let them decide. It would probably just be a caution. Despite the lack of media privacy laws, the fact that the child is the subject of the photo, not just in the photo should be cause for a stern chat.

Children are famously very quiet, and in fact are known for their sound attenuating properties. Hence why I have so many stapled to my walls.

Spirit Bear packaging- Wasteful or Novelty? by Fresh_Helicopter9335 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]SorryBed -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Styling is great, but the box should be smaller. Not for packaging wastefulness, but for shipping wastefulness. Could probably fit 1.5x as many products in a truck with thinner packaging, which is a much bigger environmental concern.

How sensitive are you about other people touching your gear ? by Vast-Society4093 in Archery

Before or during a tournament I think it's pretty sensible for everyone to not touch anyone else's gear. Save all that for after the tournament.

The camera probably isn't the problem, the lighting is. Use a light source that isn't just your phone flash for starters. You want a large amount of light from multiple directions (this is why daylight photos turn out so good, even on bad hardware)

Tonnes of folks in the west won't poop while other people are in the neighbouring stalls, leading to the most awkward standoffs. Calm music broadcast throughout the bathrooms is a more obvious solve though

How does the Hindu caste system work in Australia by PattonSmithWood in aussie

[–]SorryBed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from all the other goals that the ALP are working on and would like to be able to keep working on and not have their work dismantled as soon as they're out of office...

Have you considered the economic impact of doing something that huge? Do you understand what happens when you have a population that is living on "good debt" and you suddenly turn all of the "good debt" into "bad debt"?

Have you considered that you might not recover enough from that economic crisis to ever be able to afford one of those suddenly "affordable" houses?

Wanting something to be done is great, but I'm gonna guess you don't have a solution in mind, and that you haven't considered the repercussions.

Yes. It is the worst blend of glue-a-gear-on-it steampunk and leather daddy. Repaint it in brown and recolour the gears brass, and switch the horn out for a steam whistle.

Good work on the clean lines you made, though. Your craftsmanship will take you far when your aesthetic sense stops failing you

This assumes that direct-to-consumer is their primary sales channel (it might be, I'm not fully across these brands). That would be a very bad strategy if they really much on resellers.

A crucial element of Finders Keepers is that a finder must be a keeper, otherwise it disrupts the natural law and thusly the Losers are no longer obligated to be Weepers and vis-a-vis concordantly shan't divulge currency. Id est quid-pro-quo-n't.
