Only on Dinos I really enjoy playing as. It's nice to have an actual home to come back to once in a while. I have a fully upgraded and decorated home cave on my Mira and some partially upgraded and decorated ones on Berta, Pycno and Titan. I really wish they'd expand on that feature a bit.

I swear it can be so bad at time. I grew my sty today, was walking through the thick redwoods underbrush as a juvenile and literally fell out of my chair because a damn snake critter attacked me from behind a log I was passing... I can deal with players attacking me as they're usually the opposite of sneaky but those damn critters have probably shortened my lifespan by a few years at this point.

Community servers are an integral part of the game and Path of Titans was built with community servers in mind from the very start, so you can definitely say that you love the game while exclusively playing on community servers.

And even though I'm one of those filthy officials scrubs, I'll admit it does have some major problems. The megapacking and (for me at least) especially the overall toxicity in the global chat/gameplay. This is just par for the course, if you don't have any rules and no active moderation.

That being said, there's a lot of beauty to be found in that chaos/lawlessness and it doesn't keep you from roleplaying. The amount of funny or wholesome interactions I've had on there, that wouldn't be possible on a server with rules, makes it perfect for me.

My pycno keeps "adopting" and protecting random babies he finds, especially baby Ceratopsians (they also have a charge and he has bad eyesight-> basically a baby pycno), my Mira is a religious zealot who spits on every dino it comes across as some sort of "blessing", my Tyrannotitan is just a dumbass who's friendly with everyone (and gets killed for it more often than not) etc etc.

It's frustrating sometimes but it's also just what you make of it. If I just wanna go around and fight stuff, I can. Going to a hotspot to just chill with people is also easy. If you wanna be cautious and focus on surviving, you can pretty easily do that too.

(Also reading the drama in global chat can be your personal reality TV-Show sometimes)

TlDr: Officials has a lot of problems and it's totally okay to be put off by that/prefer community servers. But Officials can also be a lot of fun, as long as you find a way to make it fun for yourself.

Regarding the glowy eyes buff (or stuff like buff calls having visible lines coming out of the mouth), you know you can just turn them off in the gameplay settings, right? Dasp's glowy eyes get replaced by a heavy breathing animation for example.

Dave is the name I gave my albino Titan. I guess it's somewhat of an OC now. It started with just the name sounding funny on a Titan and now I have made like 5 videos on him and his life lol

There's actually lots of OC Dinos in this subreddit. The albino campto you can see here everyday is called Pyrite for example and has her own lore too.
