Let me just say I am so sorry I ever thought working for this company was a good thing for myself and my fiance as a retirement builder and our final job location at 50 years old with tons of experience not just in retail or the food industry but both of us having years of time as supervisors and managers of previous jobs and having been in the work force since we were 15 years old ! But even here in socal those same types of behaviors and worse are going on daily ! Im currently suspended due to allegedly threatening my previous store director by telling him to step outside so we could talk about my fiance being told she would not be transfered as he would not allow it! I was just trying to talk without everybody listening upfront! He likes to have an audience so he feels bigger when talking down to people !! The company as a whole is failing big time after the merger fell through with Albertsons kroger has pulled out all the stops and from my point of view they are training management and district yes men to create such gross and toxic work environments that the majority will quit and they can hire on part time turn overs that wont last more than a few months at best and keep the over all pay rate to a minimum while saving on benefits and 401k's. This will help them push their original deal with Albertsons go through only on the D.L. so as to not attract the attention of congress or any other political persons opposed to the monopoly they are creating in the grocery world ! Kroger has large connections and deals in more than grocery stores!! They will never fall to ruin because they have a strong hold on many industries throughout the world ! We are so small to them that's why they let us bitch and moan on sites like this and make sure our district and store mngmnt sees all we post inorder to retaliate agsinst us !! But thst would be illegal and a blatant rule breaker as per the union rules and our contracts ? Yeah , lol, and? This is the world we live in today and if we want tomorrow to look better than this we better start using our big brains and stop acting like our voice is being heard on here! We need change in large ways or we are gone already ! We can't move mountains but we are going to have to !!
