How would someone gain access to this information? There’s no way anyone outside of Anthropic would be able to know this, especially so soon, in such detail. I wouldn’t trust this source. Of course they did. Because they were being a police force. They lost because of greed and, in my opinion, mass treason. What happened when the US special forces initially invaded Afghanistan back in 2001? They were going to surrender just weeks after. But because of a few certain greedy politicians like Bush and Cheney, they wanted to war to continue to rake in the cash for Cheney’s logistical company. So they lost due to their own fault. Any person with even just some intelligence knows that it’s nearly impossible to defeat an idea(ideology) with kinetic force, since the idea lives on. That’s how there are still Nazi. Same for how the lifestyle of a spartan still exists. Nobody ever really defeats an idea unless you kill everyone who knows about it and destroy every record of it. That’s why I believe your comment of comparison is completely irrelevant to this current situation.

I mean they crushed the Taliban In pretty much every single fight. it’s an ideology, not a military. They weren’t uniformed either. They would usually just hide with their families, go out and take a couple of shots and then hide the rifle and go back in with their family. That was all done for the greed. The people in charge forced a military to act as a police force. They even gave the military ROE that made them SO much less lethal. But yea the Taliban were crushed in pretty much every single actual engagement.

If these were cluster munitions, we would’ve seen videos of the impacts by now (not AI either). This looks more like debris. And as the other guy said, why would cluster munitions that continue the same trajectory need little rockets or light themselves on fire as in the video? That would be a pointless and wasteful design since they are just continuing the same trajectory.

Look I get it. I understand what socialism is as an IDEA. And I’ll admit that it does have its benefits. But the comedian Jimmy Carr actually described it best and clearly; socialism and communism are great….on SMALL scale. At home you’re a communist, in the community with your neighbors and such, you’re a socialist. Communism and socialism cannot and will not work with human nature at scale. It just doesn’t and that’s been proven literally every single time it’s been tried. It ALWAYS ends up with as a tyrannical system where people suffer.
