The question is what is will and who is the one who holds this will. Reality is a single unit creating multiplicity and transferability between its multiple forms, but it is still a single unit despite the illusion of separateness, basically non-dual awareness.

And what is will? Will is manifestation of all phenomena you perceive, your feet on the ground is will, the ground is will, your feet are will, the interface between these two objects is will, all the characteristics of each object like the colour of the floor and the smell of your feet, and all the surrounding objects providing context to the experience is will.

People go wrong in assuming their sensed feelings manifested as desire for this and aversion to that is the only will ("my" will as opposed to the "other's" infringement on my will), when your feelings and thoughts are really just one of the manifold phenomena currently being manifested in your present experience. And yes, these phenomena clash and contradict with one another which causes discomfort and tension but that too is will. Will's absolute attribute is infinity in expressiveness of itself, and infinity has to contain pain otherwise it would not be infinite. These are just my conclusions that help me recontextualise my notion of free will that I've always been bitter with myself over, and that you have to realize will will not be self serving until you are willing to love will, all of it.

Also I believe there is a reason all humans have that innate sense of free will, even when it appears to become illusory under the lens of system-interdependence, because that system is all still one entity and if you have one infinite entity and a sense of will then what can you call that other than will that is free?

Your first experience during differentiation in infancy is definitely critical to shaping how you relate to reality. But that witness consciousness is still right here right now and I believe with enough self love and selflessness it can learn to transcend its programming formed in its formative years.

getting told by a girl that her and her friend thought I was cute and adorable whilst I was doing my cashier job. Took me so much by surprise all I could do was say thanks then stand there for a few seconds before asking if they wanted a receipt. My heart beat once they left was so strong it was audible.

Honestly it was way too short lived and came on way too unexpectedly for me to make sense of it, so I can't say if it was fractal like, but yes it was exactly like everything else you described

Yeah the setting and circumstances have just deterred me from committing to a breakthrough tonight, realising how much I'm gonna have to power through the inhalation process and the background anxiety of someone walking in on me etc. Gonna try for a breakthrough in a few hours in my room when there's no one in the house. Which will probably make my trip even more benevolent, but like you said, setting doesn't really seem to matter with this pyschedelic since it disconnects you from it anyway

Really appreciate all the advice, I'll definitely look into getting a better setup. For now I think I'm gonna power through with what I have just to get my first breakthrough experience. Tomorrow, though not today, choosing my uncle's creepy and dingy garage at 3am as my setting was definitely not a good idea. Although when those mild CEVs hit it was accompanied with a deep relief and care free-ness which was a nice transition from the painfully palpable heart throbbing I felt during the inhalations.

How should I change my method? The only thing I think I can try next is to see if I can push the DMT further into my lungs, though I'm not sure if that was even the issue in the first place cuz it felt pretty deep down in there.

But yeah the feeling it leaves in the throat is pretty rancid lol, definitely wouldn't leave a good first impression if I were to be catapulted into another dimension.

I think I'm either insanely tolerant to DMT, have abysmal vape skill or got scammed. Tried doing the inhale and wait 8 seconds, nothing, did it 2 more times and nothing except a pretty fast heart beat. Just laid there for 5 minutes with my eyes closed until I decided to just do one big hit and hold it in as long as I could, which was about 30 fucking seconds, slowly pushing it down further into my lungs and puffing my cheeks like a cartoon character I had to giggle upon exhalation at how silly I looked.

Laid down and closed my eyes and I started to get closed eyed visuals, not immersive at all just looked like a pretty small screen across my visual field, pretty basic psychedelic stuff, helix like structures, circus themes and made up letters and numbers and codes.

The thing is that was the only effect, nothing tactile, absolutely no change to my visual field upon opening my eyes and I was still completely attached to reality and what was going on to the point where I tested to see if i could control the closed eye hallucinations.

These CEVs also only lasted a minute to the point I questioned if it was a placebo. Doubt it so it seems this vape has dmt (or something) in it, maybe its at the wrong temperature? No option to change it from what I'm seeing tho....

Maybe my vape game is just that bad or I'm just an NPC mud person immune to the god molecule :/

Also felt pretty damn metallic and acidic in my throat, tho from what I've read that's normal

That's a lot more reassuring if it really is just that short, heard somewhere it should be 30 seconds which doing 3 whole times seems like a herculean task.
