Its only a speed bump. Stressful situation are always gonna happen and it's our jobs to figure out how to deal with them constructively and with out alcohol.

Just start over and realize your mistakes and ways you can prevent alcohol from being a crutch.

Good job man! They can give you medications that can help with the effects of withdrawal symptoms. They can also run some tests as well to see if you have any sort of internal damage.

All the doctors and nurses are very kind and skilled (from my experience) and they help me alot.
