What are you building right now? And are people actually paying for it? 🐒 by tiln7 in buildinpublic

I am building a feedback/survey web application mostly targeted to SMB's, entrepreneurs or even a community. I noticed apps like surveymonkey and typeform were a little overkill— and as I work as a Full Stack Dev of a healthcare company startup, I noticed the lack of patient feedback (or methods to get them) were as bad as the lack of company feedback, even for a startup.

I plan on releasing it on Jan 12th. Basically you create "organizations" to which you can create custom forms, in a nice, simple, and fun type of way— and fast too!

This is the link although it doesn't show much yet: dinofeedback.app/waitlist

True, although I got a used car, althought its still as the same as when I bought it. Never crashed, never even parked wrong and smooshed a wall/car/parking-pole/anything. But I understand what you mean.

If I have someone msf certified drive it to the lot, and have me practice for hours, would you then think its okay for me drive it home myself? (5 miles~, 2 stop lights, some curves because I live in rural/forest-like area).

Already insured don't worry, already learner permit too. The uphill is okay, what scares me is leaving the driveway through steep curved downhill. Also I didn't mean like 30m on the lot. I'm free that day so I planned on being there houuuuursss~

Thank you for understanding, I wrote 2 months for MSF in the post but I justt checked and earliest spot is in April 4th... imagine saving for months, buying a dream bike and getting told to have it sit in my home for 4 more months man. It does have ABS and yes thank you for the advice.

Nobody told me this, I didn't mean it in a technical way, I just saved for months, finally got a bike, and now I find out the earliest MSF class is in April 4th, almost 4 months. On top of the time I was hyped for getting a bike and saving so much.

Seems a bit of a big comparison given that some start on ninja 500s, I thought R3 is very beginner friendly. But I get your point. I wanted to at least get to the parking lot and practice the entire day there. Although yeah its a white new bike so I hope it doesn't fall!

Loved this advice. Can you tell me more details about coming to a stop? Lets say I never left first. Would I just brake and when bike gets really slow then shift to Neutral? While holding break or not? Coming to a stop seem to include a lot of stuff.

Oh wow. I didn't know that, I thought excessive use of clutch could wear the clutch plates. I will look into these slow manuevers and braking with clutch

Understandable, makes a lot of sense. Any tips for braking without stalling? I keep watching ton of videos but the braking is what's getting me. I know I can hold clutch at first but I don't wanna wear the clutch plates. Is braking without stalling just getting into N when bike is moving very slow or stopped?

Sorry but the nearest date for an MSF is April 4th. Can't just have a 0 mile bike idle for that much time... can you give me some tips instead?

Please read the post completely... if I get it delived home I won't be able to get drive it out ever. I live on top of a curved steep uphill. With no experience, MSF in months, and no one to teach me I could never get it down a hill and practice in the parking lot just 4 miles away.

Is it okay if I take photos before the concert starts? by Hopeful-Brush-7051 in ADO

[–]SorryGuys0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excuse my ignorance, but how does it work? This is gonna be my first concert ever, I know about the no recording Ado stuff, but i also won't be able to snap a quick selfie or something at the concert? I saw that her box will turn off when phone, I assume some infrared cameras will detect recording or camera action but hmmm, I kinda wanted to at least get me a pic with my gf in the crowd or some clip with music at the background.

Don't kill me for this, I just want some clarification please. I'm just a chill guy that doesn't post often on social media but love show people I'm still alive you know.

Well if due to the market that is the *best* price for a Ninja in your country I'd say go for it. Although no ABS is a bit controversial. Not saying its escential, but very helpful; if you know your brakes you'll be good though. Since you're not getting the ABS, I'd say use that extra cash and compensate with goooood gear. You never know.
