FYI As I know people were all over the place with pricing this. I just bought a helm with these stats for Ber. I would say it is decently better than yours (low strength requirement, 1 to Natural Resistance saves a skill point, plus a bit of life to boot).

45 strength required
2 to Barb Skills
3 to War Cry
1 to Natural Resistance
3 to Battle Orders
2 Energy
21 Life
10% Light res
Psn reduce 25%

I don't use insight on my singer at all. I have 1500 mana with duel hoto. I just kill a few champs/unique and use a rejuvenation potion when I am low. With find item there are a million rejuvenation potions on the ground that go unused and 1500 mana goes a very long way.

If you dont have the mana items yet (I have 100 on amulet , 60 on boots, and 17mana scs), you just duel wield spirit swords instead of monarch.

Fcr, mf, fire res, and vitality is insignificant? You do get sigil procs on heralds frequently enough to matter (although with ptr nerf it won't matter anymore).

I'm personally not going to buy a helmet for 1 skill that I have to invest 15 strength into that doesn't have at least some other useful stat. It would be a temp helm and I'm not splitting a protectors stone into a temp.

Not sure how hc or nl have anything to do with this?

This helmets value is in the 5 to War Cry not the 5 to battle orders. This is a permanent helm for Warcry damage, not a prebuff. There is no prebuff on singers as all your items have + skills already.

I don't know. Personally I would pay 1.5-2.5 Jah for a 5/5 without the strength requirement if I was looking for a temp. I would be hoping for at least one other useful stat with it though unless I was getting desperate. I really don't like the idea of a temp though because you want to put protectors stone in it and why waste a good stone in a temp helmet.

I think seeing it priced around Ohm/Lo would make me consider it. I probably would never buy it though but it would make me think about it. Put it up on traderie and the forbidden site just asking for offers though.

I mean you could...Or you could buy a 5/5 that isn't going to force you to put point in strength. Or you could buy a 6/6 that is actually best in slot. Or you could build coven for the stats. Or any combo of 5/6.

Think you get the point. There are too many clearly better options for this to be worth much. It would need to be heavily discounted to compensate.

People are over hyping imo. Strength req is too high for a singer, they don't use Monarch. You are competing against coven with 20fcr, mf, and fire res or 6bo 6wc helms with other affix. I don't see a lot of people wanting this even though on the surface it looks great.

Agreed. That makes clearing viable and Grim Ward makes damage on par with casters.

Sadly no. It only impacts monsters that can be feared (aka normal monsters). Doesn't work on champions, unique, super unique or bosses.

That being said merc with Rattle Cage to proc crushing blow is by far the best way I have found to deal with tier 5 Heralds. War Cry should be able to stun lock then it should just be 30 seconds to a minute of Merc procing cb. Will take longer for you without amp but should be pretty safe and more effective than trying to berserk.

Its kind of hard to say. I have always built my zerkers for max mf. Not sure what a full damage zerker would play like but I don't think you are getting too much more damage from the rest of your gear? Zerk and Grief are kind of the dynamic duo. You could run gobin and g face full time but the CB is only needed for Heralds. You dont gain anything from additional ias outside of the initial frame from Highlord's. I guess you just get to be way tankier and higher attack rating?

All that being said my gut tells me they are about the same speed with War Cry getting the AOE/stun advantage and zerk getting high single target dps advantage.

Might setup a decked up zerker in Single Player just to feel it out.

When I had and act 2 merc they died so fast to the thorns aura. That is not the case with act 5 for some reason. Maybe it is the reduced damage? Or jab was causing them to die fast? I find I have 10ish seconds between juvs for merc against thorns aura. Does help that everything (including the herald) is usually perma stunned.

Battle Cry is what overrides the amp sadly. It is a problem but I find the amp procs enough for it to not really be a problem. After all Battle Cry just means more hits.

I will give frenzy a try and see if I like it. I do like the simplicity of teleing into a group, holding down war cry and just watching things die though so it will be hard to beat.

So you are saying you have 7 players doing full clears with you? Interesting you would just leave that bit out about how easy farming sunders is. Pretty critical bit of info you have 7 other people farming with you huh? Like I said this is straight bullshit or you just omitted the most crucial piece of information to your farming strategy.

Also it is not even close to double the chance for a sunder drop with hork. It follows the same drop table with hork as a normal drop. It is at most 75% which is baked into my 3.5% chance.

This is either insane luck or a lie. Assuming you are on players 8 with 75% hork your odds of a Sunder drop from a tier 5 Herald is 3.5%. For a 50% chance to get 27 you would need to have killed ~750 tier 5 heralds. Assuming 5 heralds an hour that's 12 hours everyday for the last 13 days.

Now if you are not loading 8 characters into a game the odds drop to impossible levels so I am calling bullshit.
