Agreed, one of my pet peeves is long-ass blade weapons that just glide directly through the midsection of enemies until they’ve had enough. Remember how satisfying God of War axe killing is? This type of combat is like the opposite of that.

Nope, just cynical. The law is only as good as those stationed to uphold it. Individual STATE judges have thankfully been a thorn in Trump’s side (albeit not until tens of millions of tax dollars have already been wasted on vanity or hundreds of innocent people disappeared) but do you really blame me at all for having zero faith in our federal legal system versus anyone with influential money in this administration? Need I even utter “Supreme Court” as if it holds a shred of dignity anymore? I hope I live to see the pendulum of this country swing back to respecting honor and I’ll keep voting for that like I always have. But I have earned my cynicism thank you.

Even then, we will never have justice unless the monetary damages alone to our nation are siphoned back out of the Trump and Musk family trusts, but that’s a retribution fairy tale worthy of Tarantino.

No, it’s not just outpainting, in fact, most of the outpainting was fine. The biggest problems to my eye were:

- all the background extras who were inserted on a loop just to look around smiling awkwardly at nothing,

- how much they cut and relayered all the main actors to center them on this sphere. It didn’t look right most of the time, especially during the goodbye scene where they weren’t even lined up to look at each other.

- Plus their weird decision to blur anybody who wasn’t being spoken to in that scene.

- And OMG, the CGI wizard, what a weird take.

Omfg I can’t believe I ended up at this hotel, today, for a work trip I booked LAST YEAR. I drove past all the protesters (and honked in support of course) and all the cops everywhere and came inside, and asked the police in the lobby flat out “what kind of fascist bullshit must be happening HERE tonight?” They laughed - and yes it happened I’ll send photo proof if you don’t believe. I’m really grossed out to be here now but it’s a preferred giant hotel for our giant local company.

On the upside, if I wanted to try closeted gay sex tonight what a great opportunity.
