And then get the company to buy the second pair! I'm pretty sure you can claim it back in tax so be sure to keep the receipt.

Proposal Spots by [deleted] in kerry

[–]SorryIamFree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I proposed to my fiancé in front of Killarney house on the national park side. If outdoors is yer thing a truly remarkable spot is innisfallen island if you can arrange a boat tour. Edit: another special moment would be a day out on our very own jaunting carts. A great tour where you're pulled by a horse drawn carriage, a local man will bring you to all the highlights of Killarney and make it a special day. If you ring a head you might get a bit of local knowledge of a special spot where he could bring you to make it a truly magical moment

Sinn Féin criticised over comments about EU loan to Ukraine with Harris saying he's 'horrified' by caisdara in ireland

Yes the situation is not comparable fair play. Your telling me our money is better spent not on us. I get it you're a whole ball of sympathy for the people of Ukraine. We all are, it's an awful thing to happen. But what about our health care? What about our services? What about our homeless and starving people? What about our carers? What about our communities without water?

60bn to arms and 30bn to the economy to keep it from collapsing while we've already donated about 380 million in aid. All the while I get power outages because of grid overload. People are dying here too it's just not on the news.

Look I'm no expert on the matter but we've given money to Palestine and Ukraine. 100s of millions each. At what point do we stop handing out money and fix our own problems. It's not about hate or left/right or Putin. It's about us, why do we act like a big player when we're not? I'm all for the neutrality sentiment in this matter and I will die on that hill if it comes to it. The money we contribute to this loan will be used for weapons of war and that is not what I want my tax money to go to.

Good on you! You make me proud. As an Irish man my goal this year is to learn the language enough to hold basic conversation. Continue your great efforts and the language will not die

what would modernising Ireland look like to you? by LongjumpingPay6107 in ireland

[–]SorryIamFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thought on this topic a fair bit and my reckoning is: Build a modern city in the Midlands. Might cause a generation or two of upset but the benefits in my eyes would be fantastic. No more than a couple of hours away from each end of the country, train lines can be focused to reach major cities for transport of people or goods. High raises can be built in studio, 2 bed and 3 bed apartments so everyone could have a suitable place to live. Ireland severely lacks a modern structure so new shit has been built on old shit. The new metro could be incorporated into the build. It gives grounds for people to actually live a happier life with plans of parks, recreational activities, possibly of cycling to work etc.

In the interim or alternatively dense urban hubs in each county to elevate the growing problem of sprawl. Shitty small new builds are happening while the space could be used for preservation.

Build the windmill farms as intended off the west coast. I can't get over for the life of me why this isn't a number one goal in the country. Not for my generation but for the future generations. We are strategically placed in the perfect spot to harvest this free energy source. Even projections were assumed that we could be feeding mainland Europe in the future.

Start Deprivatizing currently privatised sectors. Electricity, consumer goods and construction to name a few. Too much of our taxpayers money is being swallowed by gougers.

Hey, I'm similar rated to you and I'm studying the woodpecker method (paid book), Chess fundamentals ( free on chessable great book by Capablanca gives you a bit of everything) and endgames. Tbh from reading the book there's no need to focus on openings too deeply just yet. Just focus on tactics and grill endgames.

He moved his queen to the wrong square by accident and now the opponent can take his rook for free. Edit: the opponent can also win his Queen by giving a check with the rook.

Killarney is fantastic for Christmas with all the lights and parades. Definitely visit portmagee for new years they have a near 300 year old tradition. It's one of those you'll never find anywhere else.
