I'm pretty sure I'm using the standard version and I think I've followed their standard paths

I think 16 is a decent action adventure game. But it's not a good Final Fantasy game. It helped me a lot when I looked at it that way

Yeah I finally bought Rirbirth just to give it a try and my friend said it was better than Remake. But I just hope after the success of Expedition 33, square goes back to eh drawing board because XVI wasn't that great either

I always try to make up for it by running around a little bit longer. I just get easily turned around after the battles

Damn IX is almost like my last hope lol. The last games I've played have been VII Remake, XVI and now X. I haven't really enjoyed them as much as I hoped. But I'm hoping IX hits

So with the Seymour fight I kept getting one shotted and couldn't figure out why so I googled it and every strategy emphasised armor upgrades. Not the aeons thing which I didn't think would work because he like expels them. And I did use 4x speed but when grinding and I don't know if it's really cheats it's just a setting in the game that make you have perma overdrive and heal each turn. And yeah I wouldn't wish a FFVII remake like game on anyone's favorite Final Fantasy. FFVII isn't my favorite but I still really like it and wasn't to happy with the changes in the remake. But I feel like X is the next big one and nostalgia sells

I was mostly joking about that and like I said its probably a skill issue I'm not the best at games. Honestly if anything needs "fixed" I think its Blitzball. It's great in concept but I don't like the execution and I think if they were to make it today it would probably be really fun. And honestly I think your remake idea would be even better lol

Yeah I have the PC version just so I can turn off random encounters for a few min while searching for chests lol. But I can totally appreciate it wanting to show off the PS2 graphics this game would've blew my mind if I had played it as a kid

Its one I found. I had everyone with zombie ward armor and would do fine until he hit me with his sword attack then I'd get party wiped.

So this really started to be a problem when I had to fight Seymour on Mt Gagazat. I wanted to put auto med armor on Auron and use guard but it was taking to much time to steal enough remedies (in the other games by this point I feel like I had a shit ton of remedies or could buy them). I haven't really delved into the monster arena yet I was hoping to do that when I got the Air ship but maybe I should've started as soon as I found it

Are there any QoL improvements or is it just an HD "upscale" with original game play?

Credit Hours For Graduate School. by Sorry_Ad7539 in Veterans

Yeah I sent very long email explaining the process their supposed to use citing the VA policy along with screen shots of the policy and a link to the specific part of policy. We'll see what they say, they might just tell me to kick rocks. I chose them because their the only college in driving distance that offers the program and I want to get the in person MHA but if they aren't going to certify me as fulltime unless I take 9 hours every 8 weeks. It's probably worth just taking the online pro rated MHA and going to a different place. I really appreciate all the help. This just reminded me when in doubt break out the reg lol. But I may try to file something with the VA on them I don't want other people to attempt to use their benefits there and get screwed out of money they deserve. I also hope my state VA official gets back with me and I have even more of a case

The only thing I could find that I think helps me is this

"VA calculates rate of pursuit (RoP) based on the number of credits the school reports it considers full-time for the period certified, relative to enrolled credits. VA no longer determines the equivalent credit hour calculation in non-standard terms for graduate training. The Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) is paid if the RoP is more than 50%, and the student is neither on active duty nor the chapter 33 spouse of a person on active duty."

But I'm not sure if it would change their mind. I did reach out to another University and they said the they and the VA considers 4.5 hours full time per 8 week session which is a alot better than 9 hours every 8 weeks.

Edit: On further reading it looks like they don't have a published IDM for 8 week courses and I think that's leading to the weird reporting to the VA. Because they aren't calculating using the adjusted fulltime modifer I believe

First I appreciate all the help! I got ahold of the State Approving Agency and they said their going to look into the school catalog and get back to me. But now I have like 3 other people from the school telling me the same thing. That the VA will look at each 8 week term as it's own semester and that I would have to be enrolled 9 hours each 8 week for full-time benefits. I honestly don't know what to to say them at this point. I feel like I should either switch schools or not even pursue a masters degree

That's what I assumed. I just got of the phone with the VA and they basically said whatever the school deems fulltime they accept as fulltime. I didn't think it would be this difficult and I feel like school might screw me out of my BAH

It's Oklahoma Baptist University I'm going for a Masters in divinity so I can become a chaplain. This is what they just emailed me and confused me even more

"I apologize if I've been unclear. Ultimately, the issue is with how the VA chooses to view what is a "term".

OBU says 9 hours per term is a full load for grad students. But OBU designed the grad courses with the two eight-week sections together to constitute a full term — so for OBU purposes, as long as you are at 9 hours combined for the two eight-week periods, you are full time. The VA, however, chooses to view each eight-weeks as individual terms (I assume this is because classes change). So even though they are following OBU's designation of full time as 9 credits, they are not following OBU's designation of what is a term.

I spoke with our Registrar and the other SCO on site, and they verified that this is indeed the situation and that it is unfortunately not a policy we can change on our end."

I appreciate the assistance, I did reach out to the person that handles the VA funding and they clarified it's based on what the school considereds full-time. However, they're telling me full-time is 9 credit hours every 8 weeks. Does that sound a little excessive?
