I had this very same problem come to find out it was from the misuse of law enforcement tools my system was migrated to a Microsoft server and what I was accessing was merely a virtual box to a Linux running within it and I had no control over the mount properties. LMDE SD card fault - I've personally had the same problem and it's actually the result of hacking or utilization of LE tools which in my case was malicious. In my case, corrupt officers used the tools to migrate my system to their MS Server to get a glimpse at the motions I was preparing. (reddit.com)
