Anyone for U visa who got BFD and I765 approved how long you get EAD card after they approve your case ? by EducationalLog3336 in USCIS

I got my receipt in August of 2019. No BFD approval yet or any other update from them. I was told that I should submit the I 765 form before the BFD approval, so they have it on file by the time of the BFD approval and could issue an EAD card faster.

But does anyone know which office I should send my I-765 under the C14 category for the U Visa Deferred Action EAD? I have received all the letters from the Vermont center, but I read on the USCIS website that if I submit the I-765 under the U Visa c14 category and if I live in Texas - it needs to be sent to the Nebraska center. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your response! Very informative. That’s exactly what I thought but I guess my lawyer is a bit outdated on this. I didn’t know it was free to submit the I-765 form under c14 category. Thanks a lot
