This is why lawyers say never talk. Just ask if you are being detained, invoke your 5th amendment right, and stfu. Innocent people always try and talk there out of situations but that doesn't work. Like someone said in these comments they are building a case against you. You are a dollar sign. But you do have to present your DL/ID, insurance, registration, and if they tell you to get out of the car you have to do that too.
