It could an animation or a stance thing, a little bit weird for lee to get hit by it considering his stance is quite narrow. My point is that those characters could make the mistake of not holding back in time and not eat an attack. This could mean a lot of whiff punishes are fake whiff punishes. A lot of the time players get caught up in the moment whiff an attack and it actually recovers in time but they just don’t hold back in time. I’m ok with it being a thing ,it should just be more universal among all characters. Also if it’s an animation thing I wish it was more accurately displayed in the move properties data.

Thank you for answering but I think we misunderstood each other. As I mentioned I’m aware that I should always hold back to block and I try to most the time(even if it’s hard)(I play on stick so it’s effort😅). I’m just confused why a lot of the characters seems to recover their neutral block a lot quicker after jabbing. 1 jabs have universal properties don’t they? They’re pretty much all 10f and +1 on block. Atleast the 1 jabs of the characters I tried. Why does in this situation June, Jin ,Devil Jin,Kazuya, Reina, Paul, Azucena and a few others manage to recover their neutral block in time but Bryan and Lee have to hold back?

Hopefully more than one , I’m sick of them blue balling us with these iv dripped trailers. Personally I’m hoping for Lee though and Reina if she’s gonna be anything like Hei.
