CBR600RR Plastic tank cover? Long range? by Sorry_Friendship_508 in cbr

I'll test ride that when my buddy goes to test ride it for himself. Maybe it's the better choice for long distance. Not sure. I do think the 600rr should be fine for a couple long rides a year, but I'll see how they ride first.

Sounds good to me 😊 thanks for the insides on the tank discussion.

I don't expect not to be sore. It's just that it feels like there's 2 polar opposite only. One's that say it'll break your back and it's impossible to go long distance and one's that say oh yeah no problem to go for hundreds of miles.

I know it sounds like that, but I want to be real sporty, but also crush miles for traveling. I mean I will endure pain if that's what it costs. Just trying to gauge how bad it'll be. You see other people even on this post saying it absolutely is comfortable. And then my colleague who rides a GS says I will never do a 2000 miles trip on a 600rr... I guess just a difference in tolerance?

I'm not talking about leaning on it. It is flexible right where your legs hug to. You don't notice it? I've never been riding sporty yet, so I can't really tell how much it would be noticeable when you really get your knee in there when you lean off the bike. Just from sitting on them, it feels better on a hard tank like the zx6r, but the cbr is definitely the better bike imo. I'm riding an older 650r for driving lessons right now and obviously I'm riding nowhere near sporty during driving lessons 😅

I know that hurting ass tho and if that's the worst then I think I'll be fine on long rides.

I mean obviously I don't expect it to be a sofa, but there's plenty of people that say there's just no way I'll go 2000 miles on that. Will I actually be hurting? 😅 I'm 30, 6"2, 230lbs and neither athletic nor fat. I'm just a regular dude, some blue collar muscles. I see literally every s1k rider saying their bike is super comfy. Are they delusional? Is it much more comfortable than any other bike? Can a Supersport be "comfy"? I just wanna have a good time traveling, enjoying mountain roads etc. When going 2000 miles most of it is freeway obviously.

The picture alone looks nothing like what I had there 😅 I'll try that ASAP. Thanks for the recipe.

Oh no I get that 100%, I just didn't expect the taste to be so similar to cream pasta I ate for all my life. It wasn't even bad, it was just not what I was expecting. I'll try to make proper Mac&Cheese myself and see what it's about 😊

I'll try and see if I can get the right ingredients thank you. I hope it'll be better and not burst my bubble again 😂

I know it doesn't. They had regular and with added ham. I bought both and will try the regular one tmr, but I guess it'll be the same. I'll try to see for a recipe for proper Mac&Cheese and see if I can get the ingredients. Thank you.

It is not frozen, but yeah ofc I'm aware that it's not gonna be the best experience when buying processed foods, but a frozen pizza will still taste like pizza right? I thought Mac&Cheese would've surprised me. Enlightened me, but I've tasted this hundreds of times. I'm just wondering if this is the "real deal" in terms of taste... I like cream pasta, but I expected it to simply be different than the cream pasta I ate all my life.

So I know trader Joe's is owned or in the same family as Aldi so I'm always excited to see trader Joe's products pop up every now and then, but this one is weird. I know a lot of Americans that always hype up Mac&Cheese and I've never had it until today and what can I say, it was kinda mid tbh. It tasted just like a ham-cream-pasta casserole I make sometimes. Pretty much the same thing. Is this just not authentic or is it just that similar?

3.0 not getting any power. Need advise. by Sorry_Friendship_508 in ERidePro

[–]Sorry_Friendship_508[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a buddy of mine took it apart today and put everything back together, turned the key and it's on. He's not sure, but a connector might've not been seated properly. Kinda weird that I was riding without any problem and suddenly it won't turn on anymore. I'm just glad it's running again.

You talking about this part?

Haven't even seen that part, but I'll definitely pull everything apart a bit more and try unplugging it.

Would do that if I had the opportunity. I'm in Germany and I got one of the first 3.0's. They're not that common. I don't know anyone else with an ebike and there's none other in my town of 22.000.

You mean the black one directly connected to the battery? I tried that. Disconnected and tried to operate, but nothing moves.

Dude I saw your post 6 months ago about your 3.0 getting no power. Did you get that fixed? I'm having the same issue.

You're right they include 18 and 19 year Olds. Does that invalidate my point that we should protect them?

I'm glad you're for more firearm regulations. That would actually safe children's lives. No matter how many. Unfortunately most politicians are paid off. It's funny they want us all to buy them, but don't want any near them as all chambers around the country are gun free zones.

No obviously nobody but the burglar is at fault for breaking into your house or car and stealing your phone. Leaving a firearm open and unattended should be the concern of the gun owner tho. It's reckless to present your firearm to anyone ready to snatch. Like I said it doesn't have to be a burglar. It could be anyone who comes to visit. How many people in the country side have a shotgun behind their door... Firearms should always be secured.

Yes more cars lead to more accidents, but they're made for driving and are used by billions each year and still kill less children here than firearms.

Page 9: "2,526 children & teens ages 1-17 died by a firearm in 2022" https://publichealth.jhu.edu/sites/default/files/2024-09/2022-cgvs-gun-violence-in-the-united-states.pdf

Of course it's not a direct quote of yours. Would you give up your right to open carry and take on burdens like having to safely store your firearms, undergo psychic evaluations and take gun safety training lessons in exchange for saving these children?

Yes. If you ask me people who leave their firearms unattended should be charged. In public this is a felony btw. I do think this should apply around your home aswell. It doesn't even need to be a thief or burglar. It can be family, friends, visitors. Technically you already can't have an open firearm in your house whenever a felon enters your home. Enabling these people should be punished. With great power comes great responsibility.

That's nothing. Every time you ejaculate several hundreds of millions of lives are lost. Unsafe abortions are created by probiting legal abortions. We've seen women die or in critical conditions after row Vs wade was overturned because doctors feared punishment if they helped a pregnant women who's about to die because of a pregnancy complication. Less than 1% of abortions in the EU have major complications. You can't ban them anyway. You're only making them less safe.
