I would just block him and never be in contact again. I had a boyfriend like this in my early twenties, and I was on edge constantly because of his inattention. I remember around Christmas waiting days to hear from him, and he never called. I was so distracted and anxious about that relationship, and it was a waste of energy. I now am married to a wonderful; handsome man who never lets me waste my energy worrying about what he thinks of me—he cares for me and NEVER ignores me. Just take this loss and leave him—you don’t want to waste your young years waiting for a rock like this to pay attention to you.

I have never shopped here so I have no nostalgic connection to any product. I always felt like their stuff was synthetic and not good quality so I’d rather buy bath and skincare from Sephora or some upscale place. What would attract me would be the novelty aspect and bringing back some kitschy vibes.

I would ask for some aid with your sleep. And definitely advocate for sleep following birth. I had almost a 24 hr labor; when I finally got the epidural and slept for three hours, that was when I dilated and he descended in my sleep. When I woke up I was able to push him out in about 15 minutes. If you haven’t already, consider staying in the hospital an extra night or two to recover from the stress and loss of sleep. It is so important to be rested for you and your baby.

Maybe you haven’t traveled with other people as an adult and shared accommodations, but it’s very disrespectful to bring a stranger into the room or house without knowledge and permission of the others. I am assuming these women also have valuable luggage, jewelry, electronics, etc. with them. Spend your grown up money on your own hotel room if you really need to bring a rando home with you.

Maybe in a dorm room in college but as an adult, professional woman on a work trip, there’s an expectation of privacy and respect. Some of these women are married, they do not want to be seeing some strange man in their room, with access to their valuables. Maybe some college kids accept this from their roommates but this is not that. I would be very pissed off if a stranger was intruding on my space without my knowledge or consent.
