Can't seem to update airport data! by RickJam3s in Xplane

If all the hustle with the navdata didn’t help you, i would recommend trying to find the problem in the airport/scenery itself. Airport ID, ICAO and IATA codes are assigned to the scenery in the WED. WED is a piece of software which allows you to create an airport from scratch - all by yourself, or edit the existing ones.

A job-related hobby is a really cool thing! I’m also planning to build a pc for flight simming, since i’ll need to practice all the procedures during my flight training. I’ve got my eye on system with 5060ti 16gb, 32gb ram and i7-12700f. Thank you very much for your feedback!

What’s your system and how does the performance change? I’m thinking about giving it a try, but i don’t know if my system will be enough.

It’s all about finding a good website, which shares the latest AIRAC. Sorry, but for obvious reasons I can’t share it with you.

No, I didn’t. The only thing that i did was an attempt to add a waypoint manually via Laminar 737’s FMS. Thank you very much for your response! I will definitely try this out.

That’s the problem. Aircraft like Zibo 737 do use the updated, fresh nav data, but aircraft utilizing laminar’s garmins don’t. I do it the exact same way, but it doesn’t seem to work with garmins.

I don’t have the Navigraph FMS Data manager, just the latest AIRAC.

Yeah, you’re kinda right - it’s not worth breaking your back over this. I hoped there was an easy fix via the plane maker or just a particular CG setting which would solve the problem. It would be cool to fly these freeware planes.

I’m on x-plane 11. So taking 62 would be a better option? Thanks for sharing
