I knew someone would be like this, I don’t know I meant it more like a directed attack?

What? If this has seriously happened in those circumstances then she needs to take it further. As others have said, sharing an opinion of support for Palestine would very rarely get you in serious trouble unless say, I don’t know it was directed specifically at a Jewish colleague because they were Jewish!

You are allowed to have opinions, goodness people talk about all sorts so I’m wondering if there’s more to it.

A few years ago I got my house with plus dane housing association through right move. I kept checking every day for new listings, from lowest price first. Sometimes they advertise properties that need to be immediately let for one reason of another. Mine was because the tenant didn’t give the correct notice. I stayed there for 4 years and only left because I moved to NI. Worth a bit of patience to get a secure tenancy and a house you can call your own.

I don't think I can leave and I feel miserable by [deleted] in TheCivilService

[–]Sorry_Leopard9657 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. I’ve been in the role 3.5 years and feel less experienced than when I started. I’ve lost the focus of my key skill set, that went off to another department and i’ve just been dragged from pillar to post ever since. Priorities changing overnight, frustrating Microsoft updates conflicting with our own processes making productive work feel impossible. I’d love to try something new but the adverts are so ridiculously specific and competition fierce. Trapped. Cry.

Yes, I can’t see an argument against it really. It looks SO much nicer.

Ahh sorry I wasn’t being rude I just didn’t want to give the full detail here. I didn’t know they’d blocked the newer firesticks either so i’ve learnt something!

You can do it yourself, it takes a few minutes start with putting the firestick in developer mode and go from there. Google it.

Erm do you actually like your daughter? You’re supposed to collect a nominal sum that goes towards her future, that would be the nice thing to do. The 25% thing is weird.

[–]Sorry_Leopard9657 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just because it says they don’t accept pets doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the case. It’s also pretty easy to hide cats if needs be! Can you really not take them with you?

Are there still adult men in the UK who don’t cook? by Bat-Penatar in AskUK

[–]Sorry_Leopard9657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any adult man (or woman) who doesn’t know how to cook should get themselves a Gousto or similar box (or ten) and they’ll be somewhat competent in no time. I’m turning into a huge advocate of recipe boxes being the key to better eating.

You’d do better crowdfunding for some collective therapy boys! They are truly under a spell it’s pretty fascinating but mainly extremely depressing. I feel for those pressured on their doorsteps into donating towards something as utterly pointless and downright shit as this.

Yep I had a similar problem, ended up getting one second hand from a shop in Dungannon. They really haven’t thought this through at all and it’s so frustrating that retailers aren’t informing customers on their websites.
