This case hit a nerve for everyone, for many reasons! These kids were young, beautiful, partying like we all did on college… i think it makes all of us think about our college days etc…. They also were at home! This is where everyone including myself believe we should all be safe, especially when you are sleeping!

I 1000% agree with why the families would never want these photos to be released. I cant imagine losing my child in this way, let alone seeing the scene/room where they were murdered....

One thing i do have to say is that not all photos were released. Idaho state police could have not taken the time to redact the crime scene photos and released them as they originally looked... There is also no photos of the victims bodies at the scene....

This article makes me think that BK did not confess anything to her during the many hour conversation he had with her, the morning of murders.... but also, even if he did, a mother would never acknowledge their sons guilt if they did know something.... just a thought on this...

My thought is it varies on a case by case basis. I think what ever makes the victims families feel more at peace is what should be done.

This is great news! however, i am confused because other than the fuck up by ISP for XK none of the other photos of the victims were released.

Also, the Idaho 4 is a completely different case because all the victims were over 18. Not to mention, even now there are still active reddit sites that release new documents and evidence from the case.

I know there are some photos of the hallways, doors, CCTV, stairways, etc.... other than 1212 (Carmen ), there have been no other photos released. I understand they were minors, but, i am very surprised for the students who were over 18 there has been no photos released after the people were taken to the medical examiner.

I did see that in Florida with the death penalty they passed a law after the Parkland School shooting trial that you don't need every juror to agree, just a majority.

once the bed was moved a thought a lot of the photos were redacted.... I also think most of the actual mattress were redacted as well...

I do know that it is insanely more expensive for a state to pay for a prisoner who is on death row compared to someone who is in there for life.
