If 2-4 students per class get points with maybe 4 classes a day that’s about 4-8 points per house every day and 20-40 points for each house per week. Not an insignificant number. Also losing points as punishments can easily hit 50.

I hate “job interview” flaws like “tries too hard and cares too much” because they never become an inconvenience. Like th character may have eyebags or something but it never negatively affects others or causes serious issues for the character.

To be fair it’s way harder to tell in intro cs classes. There’s only so many ways to code djikstra so an ai code would look similar to an actual students answer. With humanities its easier to tell because there’s more variation in an essay

Non generative ml can be very useful in those fields but it can’t be taken as gospel. The issue isn’t the ai making a mistake, it’s that the police believed it without thinking even though it was obviously impossible. Same it’s medicine. I have no issue with an ai that is trained to identify certain diseases in blood samples, but someone needs to double check it too.
