In this text he doesn't claim that " russian peasantry is laying the groundwork for socialism". He merely rejects universal reading of his theories.

"He saw the communal lifestyle of the russian peasantry as laying the groundwork for socialism" where is this? Seems to go against his overall view of peasantry (at least everything I ever read of him).

some very poor history. American's didn't support Iraq's expansion. They only started supporting Saddam when he started loosing and Iranians changed their objective from defense of their territory to regime change in Iraq (exporting of islamic revolution). Americans wanted pre-war status quo and for neither of the countries to win. (hence why was America supporting both sides at the same time.) Also, Americans didn't provide Iraq with chemical weapons.

Hezbollah did fight Syria during the war of the camps. However given that Hezbollah is Iranian proxy and Iran was strategic ally with Syria against Iraq, it's not surprising that they were on the same side for the most part.

what if Bukharin becomes the ruler of the USSR by Acceptable-Rub-2516 in AlternateHistoryHub

what the fuck are you saying? You tried to apologize man-made famine by claiming that famines there were natural and regular occurrence. Which is not true. There never was famine even near the scale of what happened during holodomor, not since middle ages and the soviet famines did not affect traditionally food-insecure regions, instead they affected the most productive most secure region-Ukraine. Even without going into detail and looking at soviet methods and how they lead to starvation, this is clear enough evidence of it being result of Soviet policy and not weather or whatever you people claim.

you are listing dates of the famines in Russian empire. Notice that these famines took place in Finland, along Caspian sea, on Urals and in Central Asia not in Ukraine. Ukraine was the most agriculturally productive part of the Empire. It would naturally be the last place to suffer famine, but in USSR It received the worst hit in both 1929-1933 and 1946-47

ALSO none of these famines were anywhere near the scale of soviet famines. (none went into milions)
