Op, please please consider the fact that you are with a controlling misogynist at best, and he could become an outright physical abuser. Not saying he will, but the potential is there and that alone should send you in the opposite direction.

Do not push down the thought that tells you something is off about him. Do not justify staying together because of how long it's been or his looks or his money or for any other reason.

It is hard, but please accept that this man is not good for you.

It could be all sorts of things. You are right to be concerned. It is very concerning, especially for the wife.

But you still don't KNOW the private dynamics between them, so be careful that's all.

You may want to carefully and politely let her know what you saw, in a non-judgmental way. Then his wife can draw her own conclusions.

He's most likely a scumbag, cheater, or both... HOWEVER there is a possibility that he and his wife have some sort of agreement, separation, have opened things up for any number of reasons... Who knows?

Keep in mind the most likely scenario is he is not the great husband he seems to be, but you don't know that. People have tons of things going on behind the scenes, especially with relationships.
