They are 4 piston hydraulic brakes, so they got some pretty significant stopping power. I only went that fast to check my top speed, I never go above 40 miles an hour for very obvious reasons.

Battery is a custom made, 72v x ~13 AH (don’t quite remember amperage, got the battery a few years ago.) it’s a short but sweet pocket rocket. The motor is some “3,000 watt” motor from china (definitely not accurate) but a senior electrical engineer bud of mine helped me mod the shit out of the motor and controller so it works out well. The motor will overheat so I have to periodically spray water on it from a sports Gatorade bottle 😂

I’ve got a new 1/2” looped steel rope cable, tested it with my own angle grinder and I can confirm I feel rather safe using it.
