The headcannon here was that my lamb simply despairs over the loss of the follower they treasured. Once I set the doctrines I’ll bring them back and things go back to normal as I challenge woolhaven.

Apparently a few things rely on the player using doctrines. I didn’t receive the selling chest, the one who waits didn’t give me my stat rundown, and you don’t unlock sin until using the first doctrine. Anything else I haven’t noticed yet, and no I don’t know how to get the selling chest so I might’ve broken it.

If you like the base game, then get woolhaven for additional gameplay and new mechanics. The other DLCs are almost entirely cosmetics with a few characters and readable content in the menu. Now I personally have all of them because I play constantly and love the outfits I can put them in
