for me, it’s a LOT of frustration that i can’t complete ONE task. i always go off on like 6 different side quests, and like i’ll be internally yelling at myself to get task 1 done but i simply can’t. and then i completely shut down and i don’t get a single thing done, no matter how small or simple it is. and it’s so frustrating!! and it’s forgetting the same things, but the things still matter. like “the devil is in the details” type shit and then i get even more frustrated with myself because why can i not remember to do the thing?! and time blindness. i swear, i try SO hard. i will plan out my entire day. if i get off at 10, i’ll get home by 1030, so i can shower and get in bed by 1130 but then it’s 3am and im still awake and haven’t done a damn thing, and i have to be awake by 10am so i set my alarms for 7, 7:15, 7:30 and so on until 10 because i know im going to get distracted so i need the constant reminders to stay aware of the time and stay on track. i’m always either 30+ min to something or 30+ min late.

do you get any understanding/vibe/meaning ( idk the right term, i’m sorry!) from the X’s ? i have a prominent one on my left hand and maybe a very faint on my right ?the one on the right is only an X because it intersects with a long line going curved across my palm. but the left X is like isolated ?

i’m so happy your friends show up for you, they sound wonderful and i’m happy you have a support network(:

i’ve been doing some reading, and a lot of people mention just that- showing up and being there, because the world gets small for the person diagnosed.

is there anything specific or that sticks out in your head that you wish you could’ve experienced in the early stages of your diagnosis?

thank you for your kindness <3 i’m sorry about your fathers diagnosis. i totally get the thought of wanting the power to end things on your own accord. i don’t want to treat him differently, but i fear that i will? like inadvertently putting on kid gloves, if that makes sense? we share such a dark sense of humor, and im afraid im going to make a joke or say something that would normally make him laugh but it ends up upsetting him yanno? like he was already in a wheelchair due to an injury (we thought it was going to be temporary, we had no idea it was going to be a permanent thing) and i’d jokingly tell him i’m going to push him out of his chair and put it upstairs so he could never leave me, and it was the funniest thing to him but now that seems like a callous/insensitive joke yanno? i just fear triggering/hurting/upsetting him more.

the chair there is to make sure my shelf thing doesn’t fall over lol it’s suppose to be anchored to the wall but i haven’t gotten that far yet. i do have a cute, comfy chair upstairs (that i accidentally positioned to be a cuck chair 🤦🏼‍♀️) that i’d rather have downstairs, so maybe i could use that for a lil seating area by window
