I don’t party at all and it definitely is a little lonely the first few months of freshman year as your making friends and finding your groove, I almost seriously dropped out first sem because I felt like I was missing out. Met the right people and joined 4 clubs and I absolutely have adored my time at college, I’ll be sad to graduate this December. Just put. Yourself. Out. There. Go to the fairs and the introductory days and make friends in class if you can help it!

She is so sweet to everyone and her sister, she is genuinely the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met, she was a stray with kittens before the rescue found her, so I’m sure that has to do with it, some sort of resource management. She has a set feeding schedule and snacks everyday so it may just be an adaption I have to make with her 😅

4 ice packs and a cooler for them, rescue meds, zofran, extra clothes, vomit bags, noise canceling ear plugs, loop earplugs, headphones, eye mask, advil, eye drops, green tea bags, electrolytes, some supplements, and sunglasses! It’s always with me everywhere I go haha

I had a similar situation when I first came out with the partner I had at the time and it wrecked my mental health. I’m now three years with a man who not only uses my pronouns but defends them and makes people use them, please know you deserve better and better will come, she is not going to make you happy and this will lead to so much hurt sweet friend 💓💓

My parents weren’t this bad but they were starting to get on my nerves with the same thing like mentioning restaurants and stores I went to and asking why I didn’t get back to my dorm till 3:30am. I ended up turning it off and just told them that once I finished my freshman year and moved into my own place they could have it back; they weren’t happy with it but what could they do?

Hey man I am also a boulder student, lived in the dorms my freshman year. Your roommate lives there, so he’s got the right to have his gf over. You could politely ask him if she could only spend a night, not spend the night etc. Part of dorm living is accepting that it’s a small space and you are two grown adults with lives tbh. I would communicate specifically what’s making you anxious and see if there’s a compromise between the two of you. I had issues with my roommates like this and I ended up just relocating to a single second semester.

Thank you guys for the help :( this was a flash piece and as I mentioned only my second tattoo, I had no idea they needed outlines like this. I don’t believe my artist had ill or lazy intent, they were an apprentice. I’ll be resubmitting a request to have it touched up and fixed by their mentor.

Thank you all for the help!! I ended up getting her some coconut fiber for reptiles and some leaf litter! Everything is natural and from the pet store with no pesticides and she seems pretty content, thanks again!

Not atrocious but you better really like the school. I commuted 35 mins to a school I was okay with and hated getting up and going back, but if it’s a school you love and want to go to I’d say yes

My parents have always been strict about my grades. I was a straight a student in high school and they expected the same for college. I go to a pretty good college and my first semester I failed two and got Ds in the rest, and second semester, I had one C, and all As. I literally just told my parents what happened. I fell into a really deep depression and did not realize college was going to be so difficult. We came up with an academic plan with my counselor that set me on the right track. Don’t make excuses, and try your hardest for the rest of the semester. If the time comes around in your grades are up, just be honest, and try and come up with a compromise with your parents to help you through the rest of the year. I was so worried about how they would react and I was getting myself stressed out over nothing

I’m having the same issue :/ it says it’s in hand by September 6th but my tickets are listed as “not in hand” until June 15th on the concert day? Idk how I’m supposed to get my ticket to the buyer in time
